    Injecting in quad

I have been rotating my injections into my quads for 4 weeks- is this ok or should I inject into my ass and delts as well? The last time I did it into my delt I hit a nerve or something and it hurt like a bitch for a couple of hours. I havent had any problems with the quad so far. Thanks

If you are pinning eod i wouuld move it around for sure. The more you pin in the same spot the more scar tissue you build up scar tissue. If you can try hitting triceps and glutes. The more spots you are comfortable hitting the better off you will be bro.

I've pinned just about everywhere, but my average rotations are my glutes/delts/quads/outer calves.
And yes, hitting nerves does suck ass, not really pain for me, just a bad muscle twitch when it happens.

I only pinned delta for years, but have just gone to rotating delta/quads. Makes it a whole lot easier not having to constantly push through scar tissue.

Why do you hit outer calves? If you don't mind me asking. That is a small muscle that can't handle too much oil and is very dense and hard to push through. Do you like the Calves? Have you had any issues with extreme soreness? What size and length needle do you use for them?

Well, nowadays I inject the muscle groups that hurt the least, and the inner calves hurt like a MOTHERFUCKER, while I can comfortably shoot 1-1.5cc into the outer calves. And they can get a little sore at times, it depends on the gear im putting in them.
I use a 25g for the calves, and 23g for everything else

Bigred did you inject into your lateral head of the delt when you hit the nerve? Or where you closer to the front of the delt more than the side. I like to hit triceps, outer quads, Glutes, Delts. Never really had any issues with any but I do hit a nerve from time to time in the quad. The quad will twitch and some pain going in. I now go in slowly into the quad so I can feel more if there is pain in the location or not. check out www.spotinjections.com for more ideas of how to hit proper injection sites.

Yes it was the lateral head of the delt- I have had no problems at all pinning in the quad and was wondering if it really matters where you inject. Do you get better results rotating?? I am injecting every 4 days, sun and wed-just taking test for now.

lats don't hurt at all?... seems like tricky spot. can you see your syringe when you do it?

TGB talked to me by PM about pinning quads and he said something that really seems to help. Prior to cleaning the area that I'm gonna pin, i push on it with my finger and if I feel nothing, I know that there are not a lot of nerves in that spot and I can pin away. I haven't hit a nerve yet using this method, also found that if I tighten up my quad a bit, pin goes in easier and I feel zero pain.
