    checking sterility at home

    Hi guys,

Maybe I'm a little paranoid about sterility, but I wonder if it would be possible to check sterility of ours vials b4 injecting ourselves as described in the following link:

Bacteria Science Project Guide with Video

I think not much of our oil will be needed, maybe 0,1 or 0,2 ml.

I have even found out that agar can be replaced by regular jelly and the petri plate is not even needed as you can take a glass pot and sterilize in boiling water, making the test less expensive.

Do you know anybody doing this? It's overkill?

    peace.

I dont know of anyone but if you are getting from a good source then you should have no issues. if it is not a good source I would be more worried of what is in there!

Even a decent UGL has good sterility. Don't worry about it too much, the number one question in regards to sterility would be your own injection practices. Infections are most often the result of that.
