I would say it depends alot on your overall cycling style. If you are doing "Cycle-PCT-Time Off" then short blast cycles make it difficult to maintain gains because you only have a short blast to build and then are basically going catabolic immediately in PCT. If you're doing "Blast and Cruise" you have less of a sudden drop in levels and easing down to a cruise dose as esters clear allow you more time to "solidify" gains - though i hate the term and idea, i mean it in the way that you build up and then stay anabolic at that body weight and your body can more easily hold the extra weight and strength you've built.
