    One inch in glutes

Who uses a one inch in the glutes? Does it depend upon how lean one is?

    This is me:

    Attachment 32390

Lean enough for one inch for glute or need 1.5?

1.5 inch generally comes in 23 guage, and 1 inch comes in 25 gauge. I have a bunch of extra one inch (both 23 and 25) and I am curious whether I can use them for anything other than quads and delts.

I use 1" for my glutes, never had a problem. Usually 23 gauge. I use 25 gauge for quads.

Yeah, your lean..... Use 1"x25, no need to use a big pin and make more scar tissue then needed.

I use 25g 1 inch for glutes/quads and I've never had a problem with it. I can't really judge by your pic because you're pretty lean up top but you could have a lot of junk in the trunk but I think you'll be ok unless you want to provide some ass pics?

just pin your quad its a big muscle and its right in front of you.. and those pins should work fine. and if you want to pin smaller muscles like pecs bis and tris you can use the back load method with slin pins that heavy iron has posted about that seems like it would be the way to go. I havent tried it yet but i have slin pins waiting and that is like a 30 gauge needle.

I use 25G 1 in for Glutes all with no issue at all. As for BF% I would guess between 9-12%.

Not 12%.... i'd say closer to 10 but not 9. Your abs are lean but the rest of you hold more fat then your abs. So, I'd go with 10-11.

1" in glute is fine for me. If I am pinning a particularly large volume of compound(s) - that is 3+ cc's - I prefer the length to be 1.5" in order to get a deeper deposit.

I have both 23g and 25g in 1.5" that I use in glutes, all depends on oil thickness. I use 25g or 27g in .5 - 1" in delts. all pin sizes are available online.
