    STARTED 1st CYCLE

    I need some help, I just started my first cycle of test e.. running as follows.

    250 mg Mon/Thurs split --- 500 mg per week

    taking arimidex .5 daily

    lifting 4 to 5 days a week, eating pretty clean. My only concern is i pinned in the quad on Monday for the 1st time and it hurt like a son of a bitch about 6-8 hours after.. Sore for 4-5 days after. Pinned on Thurs in the glute and it was sore as hell also.. I am using 25g 1.5 inch in glute and 25g 1 inch in the quad. Is the pain normal for that long period of time or is something wrong with the gear i got?? Please help me and any advice in apprecaited. Thanks in advance

    What kind of test is it? Don't tell us where you got it, just the brand. Usually the pain disappears the longer you keep pinning as your body gets used to it. However, I can tell you that no matter what I do, i can't inject quads with test p. I completely can't bend my legs the next day and it's hell.

    Test Cyp did that to me as well. Very noticeable soreness in quads.

    Pain is normal. Hell, you just stabbed your quad with a needle and injected 1ml of oil...that is going to hurt. The longer you do it though, the more your body is tolerant of it...and it hurts less.

    Just take your tampon out before you pin...that helps too.

    Especially since it's your first time pinning those site's you'll experience some pain the first couple of times you pin them, but usually the muscles get 'used to it' after a few times and pain won't be as bad at all.

    To minimize pain I would suggest injecting as slowly as possible (up to 30-60seconds to push the oil in) this will allow it to dissipate as you're injecting and won't get a painful depot in the muscle. also massage the area after you inject and try to work the oil through the whole muscle, by spreading it out it should again decrease the amount in any one area and lower the level of soreness. lastly make sure you keep the syringe and needle as upright and motionless as you can while the needle is in the muscle, moving it around causes further tearing to the muscle and will result in pain and extra scar tissue.

    "Virgin" muscle. The cherry-popping hurts but it gets better - and even enjoyable - over time. Don't forget, you can always rotate from Quads to Glutes to Delts and this way, you're cutting down on the frequency of pinning one particular area. You can left quad Monday, right quad Thurs. The next week would be glutes, and week after would be delts. It would be three (3) weeks before quads are due up "at bat." In the beginning, this might make sense as to let your body adapt to the initial soreness fo muscle cherry-popping.

    thanks guys.. all this helps me.. I was just hoping this was good gear and that was really my main concern... and of course the pain.. I thought it would be normal but just making sure.. my tits are starting to itch also.. i have only pinned 2 x's since i started ...

    right on.. thats what i wasn gonna do.. i was gonna maybe hit em like this.. right quad mon, right glute thurs... mon right delt, thurs left quad , mon left glute and thur left delt.. and so on.. that would be ok to right?

    Bro dont worry I was just like you. It takes time into your cycle before it doesn't hurt as much. Especially since this is your 1st time, you just put something foreign in it, stuck a needle deep into the muscle tissue and your body isn't sure how to react to it yet so it goes on defense mode. You will be alright bro, keep on pinning. If it helps you can put your vial in some Warm water to heat up the oil for a smoother injection.

    big bird.. i have done a shitload of reading and have actually helped some friends out pinning and havent screwed up so far.. man i seriously use to pass out when i saw a kneedle hit skin.. its a totally different thing when ur doing ur own self.. my agenda is all on paper and got it all organized, lil overboard but i like to be organized and know what i have done to my body and if anything is bothering me and i can see what i have done and can try and correct it if i have to...

    i pinned my delt tonight with a 25g 5/8 inch and heated the test before hand in a hot glass of water... kinda helped with the injection but the pain still there... and i totally understand what your saying about the body being defensive

    It takes time bro. It will be worth it bro. Hit this thread up in about 3wks and let us know how your injections are. They will be much easier pins I guarantee. The pain after injection depends on how the aas was made.

    Dath, Wassup homeboy.. Man havent been on here in a while and posted.. I just been reading. I procrastinated on starting. i had a shoulder injury and f'd me up for a while bro.. I gotcha on that virgin muscle.. My delt isnt to sore ths morning... not as bad as the other... but cant wait to get all the way around and hit every spot.. feeling pretty dam good though in the past couple weeks!

    Just so you know, I'm pinning delts with 27 ga. 1/2" and the oil base compound goes in pretty easily (22 and 23 ga on glutes). A little slower as opposed to a 23 or 25 ga. but the 27 ga. obviously will do less "damage" to tissue than a larger ga. Just some food for thought. If you can, try a 27 ga. on the delt and I think you very well could experience less discomfort. I only pin 1cc in delt so this will also have an effect on amount of discomfort you feel. I have and can pin more volume in delts but I prefer to pin 1cc in each delt when appropriate. Glutes can handle significantly more.

    I've never pinned quads or delts, I was always scared to death of needles. My first shot blew balls. It took me about 15 min holding the needle lol. Right in the middle of injecting everything was turning white and I was sweating and hot as hell. I injected that shit quick and got it the fook out and went and laid in front of a fan.

    I hope I can handle the quads and delts.

    When you're pinning, just imagine all the people on this board are calling you a huge pussy because you're afraid of a little needle and oil. Pinning quads is easy cause you can just lay on a bed and put a pillow underneath your quad. Now delts though, I have a hard time with cause my shoulder span is wide. I can't reach my delt to pin perpendiculary comfortably. Shit's annoying. GL

    I sit at my computer desk. I reach over with one hand and rest that elbow against my laptop so it doesn't shake or slide back. Then I kinda turn the delt that's to be pinned towards the front and go to town. That's the easiest way I've found. It's hard to do it standing up cause you shake and move around too much. Plus it's hard to hold that position for too long.

    For the inj pain, try popping thepin off and nuking the oil for 6the seconds. It will evaporate some of the ba in the gear.

    Here's an even easier way. Wrap your vials up in a heating pad and let them sit for a few minutes. Makes it nice and thin. I've dropped too many vials when I was doing the warm water thing.
