It takes time to override the body's homeostatic settings. The stimulus has to be large and consistent.

I got stuck around 230lbs from week 7-12. Although I was stalled weight wise, I was still losing BF and having a recomp type thing going. Then around 13 I finally broke the 230 mark. This makes sense just based on myostatin, but there has to be other ways that your body will hinder muscle growth.

This makes me wonder if a minimal investment in some follistatin around week 7 would just keep the gains coming throughout the entire cycle.

Run 8 week cycles OR increase dose/compounds at week 7 OR stay on.

I ran cyp and deca for a long time, say, 5 years. Highest dosages were 600 mg of cyp, 400 deca. I never came off. I was scared I would quit growing, LOL. So, i would come off, which to me was 200 mg of cyp and no deca. I got injured, had surgery for the 3rd time, quit taking everything. I was told this was the best bet so I would heal up properly instead of masking the pain with gear and pain pills. After being off, totally off of everything for 3 years I started back to the gym, of course no strength, felt like shit all the time. I hoped that starting back to the gym would make me feel better at least mentally. Fuck, I ft worse. No energy, no sex drive, 3 years of this shit at the time. Miserable, my wife finally convinced me to get my Test levels checked, last year. My natural test levels were 167!!!!!

My body had quit makin its own test due to using gear for so long. Needless, to say, now I am prescribed 200mg a week of cyp just to have normal levels. Gear can be great, just give your body a break and cycle it right. I read this forum, get great info. I hate to read where younger guys arent cycling their stuff. Its rough knowing I have to use what once was something to improve my strength, size and speed, now only to be a so called normal 35 year old.
