This is my 2nd time cycling and about halfway through I find myself getting a little sore throat, or a slight cough. Nothing that would keep me from work, but enough to be a huge pain in the ass.
My thoughts are my body is new to these compounds so my immune system is in over drive dealing with these things floating around my blood steam, So now other things make their way in and I get a little sick.
Is this normal for the first few go-arounds? or am I just over thinking this/unlucky.
I got really sick on cycle before had to drop all and go straight on antibiotics. Now I add an immunity booster to my cycles and never had a problem since, in fact I havent been laid up sick to were I miss work in a long time.
I get sick on cycle more often than not it seems. At least in the winter. One it depends on what you are running and at what doses, two any AAS is going to impact your imune system and thrid lots of guys run their heavier cycles during the winter months when flu, neumonia, bronchitis, and cold bugs are 100x more prominent.
perfectly normal bro, people call is test flu, or so on whatever compound you are running. i usually get sore throat and cough every time, body feels ok but i feel congested and such. your g2g !
in a week or so it should pass, but if it gets worse, or doesn't pass after 7 days see your doctor.
Sounds like "test flu" though

AAS blocks cortisol and cortisol increases immune function so theoretically you should be more susceptible on cycle. I've also heard the opposite though but never seen a scientific explanation. I rarely get sick anyway but haven't had anything more than a slight headache since I started cruising 30+ weeks ago.
edit: I usually get some kind of bronchitis all the way through every winter though that hasn't seemed to change on cycle or not
Something I have been wondering myself.
Are there any meds to stay the F away from when on a cycle(for me ill be on a basic test only). I just want to have my cards all in a row.
starting as soon as the package comes in.
With test by itself I don't think there's really much you need to avoid. Maybe diuretics or something like that as AAS can thicken your blood already. Also strong stimulants if you're prone to high blood pressure, I've also heard that working your heart very hard on cycle can cause it to enlarge more than normal. Some amount of heart enlargement does happen with AAS, but it also happens with intense cardio or weight training. All athletes have larger than normal hearts and it's perfectly fine up to a point. If you're using orals then you should avoid tylenol and other drugs that can affect the liver, though it shouldn't be a big deal unless you're taking a lot of them for the duration. Of course there are plenty of bodybuilders using all of the above without problems, but I do think it raises your risk of complications so avoid them if they're not needed.
Other than that I'm not aware of anything that will directly interact with test and cause you problems.
I don't think so man, I'm not even sure any kind of cardio would be a problem. I think it's when you combine stimulants/cardio/aas is when you can have issues, and I think it would take a while before it ever became a problem as far as heart enlargement is concerned. If your bp is high already then I guess high intensity cardio might not be a good idea though
same here, haven't been sick once since I started blast/cruising 30+ weeks ago. I usually don't get sick a whole lot but haven't even had a cold since I've been on
If your feeling like shit on cycle I would get some labs done first and make sure E2 is under control. 5 weeks into my current cycle I got a nagging headache, was lethargic and just generally felt like shit. I got labs done and found my E2 was 117, more than double the upper limit for men. I dropped the Dbol I was on and double my AI dose and felt fine within a few days.
