hard gainer considering Super DMZ Rx (situational)
I'm 22 years old, been working out 1 and 1/2 years now. I'm 6'2" 130 lbs. I have celiac disease, lactose intolerance and acid reflux which all 3 severely limits the types of foods I can eat. I cannot eat Flours, wheat products, acid fruits/vegetables/anything acidic, NO processed sugars or preservatives. I eat 3-4 times a day. My meals consist of: Potatos, Rice, spinach, asparagus, carrots, string beans, peas, glutenfree-nuts, plain unseasoned fish, beef, chicken, and other Gluten-free organic foods; and I am able to take a certain Type of mass gainer because the Whey does not bother my lactose intolerance as much as others do. I am extremely limited in what i can eat, and it takes double-time to digest my food than the average person. I also have an extremely high metabolism and have been eating 3500 calories a day for the last year and a half...sometimes I only get to 3000 because of college classes, workout routines and I can't eat 4 hours before bed, and I cannot eat 4 hours before a workout or I will puke.
I have become more defined, my muscles harder and I'm pretty sure I have almost no body fat, because i get cold A LOT easier than I used to:
Here is my workout plan:
Day one: Chest/triceps
Standard bench press, Incline bench press, decline bench press, incline fly/cable cross overs, weighted dip, close grip bench press, cable pressdown, skull-crushers, Abs/cardio: 20 min walk; leg raises/cable crunches/standard crunch/ 60 each
Day two: Back/Biceps
Deadlift, bent over rowing, T-bar row, lat pull down(wide), lat pull down (narrow), Barbell curle, preacher curl, incline dumbell curl, hammer curl/cable curl: one arm. Abs/cardio: 10 min, row, abs as above, 20 min walk to cool down
Day three: shoulders
Overhead barbell press, upright row, seated lateral raise, seated bent over lateral raise, barbell shrug: heavy, dumbell shrug: heavy. Abs/cardio: 20mins, walk; abs as aboe
Day four: Legs/calves
Squat: Smith machine, leg press: Hack squat. leg extension: single leg, lunges: barbell, lying leg curl, standing calf press. Abs/cardio 10 mins, abs as above, 20 min walk to cool down
3 days rest, 2 days to lose some strength, 3rd day to get some fat, and then repeat to tear down and bulk up....... I extracted this from "arnold schwarzenegger encyclopedia of bodybuilding" and because of the muscles anatomy of the human body..am able to work these muscle groups back to back (without injury and imbalance) sometimes I do take a break if I need to for a day....I also do this accompanied with Yoga Sun-salutations before and after a workout.....Muscles haven't changed at all, but advertising has.
So after all of this and eating 3500 calories a day, still no real gains for me, other than more harder-defined muscles and no mass at all. I've maintained my same weight but gained some more muscle.... So i am considering:
Super DMZ Rx (4 weeks) and then "Redefine nutrition revolution PCT black" for 4 weeks after, and then a 6 week break. Just to possibly get over this hump that I cannot seem to get over.
I have concerns about taking this, but I'm fed up with being weak and too skinny for my height. I would appreciate any feedback on this, or if there are any health concerns I should face with my 1 month use of super DMZ and then the PCT to retain what I gained.
Second since you can't eat gluten, there is gluten free bread now so if it doesn't bother you that could make a huge differance, up your carbs like crazy, i mean stuff em down as long as it doesn't bother your digestion, stomach etc. Next i would honestly not take the dmz. I would wait a few years, because 1 1/2 years isn't a long time in the gym, and orals can play hell on your stomach. I would up your food to your comfort level because the celiac is robbing you of nutrients, so if it doesn't upset you keep loading them up! Im sure you have a doc for the celiac have you spook with him and searched all possible treatments?
I'm not taking any medications right now other than Digestive enzymes and B-complex + fish oils to help with my health. I'm not big into medications because there are kidney and liver problems usually associated, I'm not taking any type of medications related to my celiac disease....Since I also have Lactose intolerance and Acid reflux, I cannot eat gluten free bread, because there are ingredients that make my acid act up and hurt my stomach, I've tried everything, its been a tough last 4 years since My body has changed. I just eat the right organic and plain foods and workout. My celiac is different because I have other problems associated with it as well....I don't know what "prednisone or corticosteroids" are? I just eat foods that don't upset my stomach and my body. I can only eat 3 times a day at most because of all these problems and I try to eat as often and as much as I can but to no avail, I've been checked for thyroid and that is not a cause for my hard weight gain unfortunately.....
I talked to a random guy from class and he said he used to weigh 120 and jumped up to 210 just doing this 4 weeks dmz and 4 weeks PCT and then 6 weeks rest afterwards, and now that hes got over the hump hes able to gain more now without them....said 50 pounds I could gain in a month, sounds really really intense...but I just really feel limited I'm super against drugs and roids, but.....meh.....I don't know...Maybe 2 weeks of dmz? or taking it every other day? I just really would feel better if my hardwork could give me some real gains, even if it was 10 pounds, I would feel amazing and satisfied.
thank you for your help Littlekev, I appreciate the time you took to respond to me.

Yeah if you can only eat enough to support 130lbs before cycle, you're gonna go right back to that after cycle. If you can't get your weight up now AAS is gonna put a few pounds on you at most, but you won't be able to sustain them without permanently altering your diet anyway
Built is a great person to help out with your diet. She is one if the best on the forum with anything diet related.
I dont feel comfortable giving you aas advice because you have a medical condition that I dont know too much about. The last thing I want to is give you advice and make something worse with your illness. The only thing I can safely suggest is find a good doctor and discuss your problems because 130 is a really low weight and a doctor would know best what to prescribe in your case.
Wish you all the best.

I've been 150 at 6'1", so I can only imagine how thin 130 at 6'2" would be.
Still, I'll second the advice not to begin Super-DMZ Rx use. You're very young and -- as others mentioned -- you would do better to get your digestion, etc. issues resolved first.
"Hi there - we have Celiac in the family; I know it well. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it does suck.
You said you have acid reflux. Do you also have IBS btw?
What fats do you consume, and are there any fats you must avoid?
Also, do you understand how steroids/prohormones will make you gain weight? You realize you still have to eat more food, right?"
This makes me really happy . Yes I do have IBS, I have had a colonoscopy the last year to check for it, and I do. I cannot have processed sugars, Saturated fats bother me, anything that is greasy and fatty bothers me. So i get my fats from nuts, olive oil, and other foods. Though I do try to eat the fat off steak and such, I have a feeling I will have a heart attack before I gain any-weight from it though.....I realize I will have to eat more to keep on the weight and mass...wondering if I will have more of an appetite and be able to eat more as a result of bulking up, verse forcing myself to eat and eat more.
Doctors unfortunately cannot help me with medications because I have celiac but the same symptoms plus more and different symptoms too....I've seen a gastrologist specialist, bowl-specialist, I've seen many doctors even Holistic doctors to help find a cure....but it seems just eating certain foods that I eat is the only method to help with this problem. I also have seen an improvement in my acid reflux symptoms since I've started working out my "core muscles" so I have a feeling working out is also helping balancing my body, Yoga too could be with that affect as well......Just seeing people my size get massive gains in 1-2 years, and me making barely any progress is really really depressing, and I just feel like this would work to get over this "Hump" But I would trust your opinion, since you seem to know so much about all of this and since this other user here recommended you.....I feel blessed I am able to get a response from someone as knowledgeable as you.....Are those links part of your message or that Sub-message thats at the bottom of every post?
Thanks guys I'm really grateful for all of this help. I already ordered the DMZ and PTC =/ because i got excited, it wasn't until a few days later I got paranoid and began rethinking all of this. Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it, again!
My doctors have also said that my weight and heart are okay, I'm healthy and there is nothing really wrong with me that I should worry about, even though I am underweight....I have the body of a long-distance runner as said by a chiropractor of mine, where I would rather be built like a body builder...... =/ I really didn't think DMZ was a steriod more of a supplement, but damn. Guess things are never as easy as you want them to be
I also take Probiotics? Whatever you call them, to keep the good bacteria in my colon more than the bad bacteria and keep my digestive and intestinal issues at a minimum. My diet change has also reduced the IBS symptoms significantly. I've seen a dietitian and boy were they useless, since they all said they never really worked with people with problems like mine and can't really help me gain weight like I want to unless we "help eachother" But you seem to know your stuff as this other guy says, and you are on this Bodybuilding website, I feel you CAN help me...I'm really desperate.... To Curt James, thanks for empathizing with me. I would rather weigh your weight If i could, closest I ever got to being heavier is 137 but i had to take MASS GAINERS for 9 months, and I don't think that is the best for my health or by bowels. Of course I lost nearly all of that weight But If i could just get a real gain of 20 pounds or soooooo I would force feed myself any amount to keep it......I'm just sooo at a loss.

^^^ everyone advice is great, I noticed you wrote about not liking meds because of toxicity on liver and kidneys, so you know dmz has been rated by some to be the most hepatic toxic oral in aas, it is not for a recreational user, and has many side effect possibility's. Smartest thing for you to get perminant results is work on your diet id follow Vibrants advice and work with educated people on your diet. Post it up in diet and nutrition section! I hope you leave dmz alone i really think it would make your digestive problems worse. Good luck man!

Hey, I was doing close-grip benches with 95 lousy pounds recently while a kid was benching 365 lbs.
It is what it is.
There are Chihuahuas and then there are Diesel Mother*******.
You, my friend, are solidly in the Chihuahua corner right there with me and many others.
I'd recommend you contact a nutritionist or dietitian familiar with your condition or limitations and work toward increasing or determining the range of foods you can tolerate.
So far as lifting goes, I'd urge you to concentrate on benching, squats or leg presses, and deadlifts. That's it. At a buck-thirty you have no reserves to waste energy or calories on dumbbell laterals or curls, etc.
Sleep ten hours a day if possible. 7 or eight at night and then some naps if your class or work schedule allows. Conserve, conserve, conserve those calories.
Otoh, I have often joked that without people like you and me the aforementioned diesel people wouldn't look so jacked. I mean, if everyone looked like Ronnie Coleman at his peak then what would be so special about looking like that?
We're providing a good service to the Jerked and Tan set, brother.

Maybe go see an endocrinologist, they deal more with hormones and aas than most doctors.
I would also suggest finding some lactose free protein powder and just drinking as much as you can every day because even with aas, you're not gonna gain weight if you dont up your calories.
