    Goodbye Beer?

So I have heard different things but I am a beer drinker , I like to have about 2 a day usually after a long work day , sometimes 3. When I wasnt planning on cycling some AAS I never worried about it and considered it as just extra calories during my bulking cycles..

Do I have to stop drinking during my AAS cycle? I am a light daily drinker then about once a month I cut loose at the bar with my girl and some of our friends. It's not a huge issue for me to stop that for some months but I am not a BB and just into the gym time more to improve my strength and make my construction job easier in the long run since it has high strength requirements...

Anyhow I am interested in what the general opinion on this would be..

And yeah I would already agree the beer is not optimal calories and know it's not helping me out but I drink it for the morale and just the appreceation of good beer.

Beer is fine in moderation for your goals. 1-2 beers a few times per week is a basic rule of thumb I go by.

2-3 beers, no problem. As long as youre not on a heavy oral cycle.

Actually I will be on no orals at all , for the record. I can reduce the beers down , they just taste good. Heard some rumors about beer canceling the effects of AAS... sounded fishy.

Alcohol can make it harder to control estrogen and would otherwise negate some of your efforts in the gym. As far as health, if you are only doing moderate amounts of injectables, then 2 or 3 every once in a while wont do much harm to your liver. But everyday is far from ideal.

As long as you dont go balls to the wall you'll be fine. As for canceling the effects of steroids, alcohol robs the body of protein and will negatively affect your diet as well. Thats if your getting shitfaced every other day you'll notice and so will your body haha but in moderation your fine. Pound a cold one for me too bud

Agree with everyone else. If your not competing or trying to get sub-10% BF, then a few beers will be ok. Just be responsible about your intake.

I am day three into a DMZ cycle and I am a heavy beer drinker. I typically drink 2-3 beers a night, then who knows how many on the weekends. Where I grew up, people are known for their abilities to pound beers so it kinda runs through me... lol

But I take it as a personal challenge, I tell my friends and my GF that I am going to stop drinking all together for 8 weeks and they don't believe me, and make a lot of fun, so it gives me pleasure to prove them all wrong! Is it hard? Fuck yes! But, I feel if I am spending all this money on a good cycle and putting all this time into something, I might as well get everything out of it I can so for the next 8 weeks, I won't have a beer.

Yep that's what usually happens when chronic drinkers stop. The withdrawals can be fatal, or so I have heard and read.

I stopped before when my ex moved in with me and asked me not to drink.

She asked me not to drink basically just cause she had family who drank too much. I didn't drink for about a year but when I kicked her out and dumped her I started drinking my beers again.

It didn't bother me to stop in a withdrawl sense I just like the taste of a frosty cold beer.
