2cc in calf is a lot! I would look at quads or glute. What was in 2cc?

Damn...you cats are crazy with the calf injects. IMO there are so many other viable options, that calf injects are just unnecessary.

What's the point in someones life where they decide to go for a calf shot? Apparently I haven't crossed that bridge.

+ bis and tris if you are really desperate. Your quads alone have about 4 different inject sites.

Why would you do it bi-laterally? The only thing I can see that MIGHT be a plus is that the decreased volume might cause less discomfort but it seems the negatives out weigh the positives.

Imo theirs no way to know without waiting it out, so i say why wait, i actually just had infection(well almost gone). If the injection site gets red, hot, swollen i run a short antibiotic cycle. Doc told me this time(went because had fever)that if i had waited to start antibiotics i would have most likely i would have had a bigger problem. Im not saying you have one, prob just pip but one week antibiotics will not hurt anything. If you start a regimen then you get peace of mind knowing that even if it is infection you are taking whats needed to get rid of it. just my .02

Infection usually consists of a fever bro. It's you bodies immune system "heating up" to kill off invading microorganisms. If I was you, I wouldn't make an appointment, I'd just stop by your local ER and explain the situation.

This time of year, the staff should be on their toes because of people getting communicable "bugs" such as the flu.

Correct, and i wouldn't go to hospital either unless things got worse like you develop a fever and cant get in family doc tomorrow, Family doc is a less expensive route. The reason i went to doc is like you said, i had a fever that wouldn't break so i wanted to be sure the antibiotics were enough for my issues. My point was if you had access to antibiotics i would take them, thats all. Not knowing if you have an infection sucks, so piece of mind is priceless. Good luck bro, feel better.

It's very difficult for a virgin muscle, especially a sensitive one like a calf to handle 2 ccs of oil. I won't even do two ccs on my quads or delts. Ineffection will be accompanied by fever, always. I wouldn't do 2 cc shots on my calf again if I were you dtrain

Couple of days easily. Just a thought you might want to go to a doc in the box/ urgent care center anyway they will prob give you a broad spectrum antibiotic , even if you don't use them you will have some on hand they last a long time prob cost you around $150

They'd use broad spectrum because they don't know what's causing the infection. He'd have to get labs and cultures so they can focus the antibiotic therapy properly.
