Question Is Testosterone this effective for preserving muscle mass??

I've been cutting on 250mg of test-E for 8 weeks now. Before the cycle I never did a cut in my life (did 1 long bulk for 2 years) & weighed in @ 210lbs & right now i'm at 194. Before this cycle i did a 9 week bulking cycle of Test-E @ 500mg.

for the past 3 weeks i've been slacking & only went to the gym 4 times & i've only been eating @ the most 130grams of protein a day. around 2000 calories a day. reason for slacking is because of college.. just started my first year & it's alot harder than i expected.

& even though i haven't been eating/training right I've still managed to lose 9 pounds while retaining most of my muscle. Biceps were 16 inches 3 weeks ago & they still are, & from the looks of it .. i look bigger..my face looks skinnier, my waist is smaller & I could even also see the outline of my 6 pack. I just went to the gym today & checked to see if i retained my strength on the big 4 (bench, squat, deads, military) & i did.. I even managed to add 5 lbs on my squat.

well..my question is.. is 250mg of Test always THIS effective?? or does it have anything to do with my genetics?

Well depends on hte person. I would say genetics plays a good part.
Some people just workout a bit and look great others have to really put a lot of effort to see results...

it's like math, some just see the numbers and its done others have to study hours to get to the same result

250mg a week is probably putting your blood levels to a pretty high level. Most trt folks use 100-200 a week.
Just wondering your age if you just started college and are blasting and cruising.

Yeah that would be my first question. Why in THE hell are you cruising in college.

And the answer to your question is you are like most guys who lift. They eat way to much.

After you have lifted for a few years and have decent muscle you can "cruise" with the protein requirement.

In a scientific study the protein needs to acquire zero nitrogen balance was
calculated to be 1.6–1.7 g·kg-1·day-1. means 1.6g/kg of protein is enough for maintainence (not growth)

So that is .7 per lb. so you are 194 you only need 135 grams of protein per day to maintain muscle.

Maybe he went to college late and is older ?

250mg is just a cruise dose of test and just slightly above what your body is normally outputting. You haven't lost mass cause your protein is high and 3 weeks is absolutely nothing in terms of catabolism. People overexaggerate catabolism waaaay too much. Unless you're past your genetic limit, catabolism isn't going to really come into play unless you underconsume protein and do waay to much high impact cardio (long distance running).

You're on AAS in your first year of college? Come on' man you're smarter than that. Get off the juice and focus on your school. Wait a few years to gain naturally then get on AAS if you still want to.
    BTW You're still a teenager?

Let's not jump to conclusions. He may have waited several years after High School to go to College.

OP, please clear this up for us.
