gained 1# while trying to cut

    1) Age: 24
    2) Weight and Percent Body Fat: 210 and 20%ish (guess)
    3) Years of Consistent Training experience: 2yrs then took 6months off, lifting again for 1yr
    4) Previous Cycle experience: my first cycle of Test E (200mg 2x wk) + Whinny (50mg ED oral) + Aromisin (12.5 ED)
    5) Training routine and Diet
    6) Cycle Goals: cut, yet add some strength

so i have been focusing on dropping BF for the past 3 weeks. i have dropped a total of 5 lbs. but this week i gained 1lb. i know it's not much, but im just curious as to the thoughts...should i stay with what im doing, or change something in particular. i know some people suggest not using aas when your BF is as high as mine, but then half the population suggest it to aid......

my diet it as follows with the exception of 1 bad meal per week:

    meal 1)
1 cup of egg whites + 1 whole egg, 1 whole grain waffle, 3 strips turkey bacon

    Meal 2)
1.5 scoops of ON whey protein

    Meal 3)
1 can of tuna, 1 apple

    Meal 4)
1 Tilapia fillet, 6 oz Broccoli, *1 cup oatmeal*

    Meal 5)
1.5 scoops of ON whey protein

    Meal 6)
6oz pork chop, 6oz broccoli, *1 cup brown rice*

    WORKOUT

    Meal 7)
1.5 scoops of ON whey protein

**on my non lifting days i will subtract the oatmeal and brown rice.

    training days: protein-245g; carbs-156g; fat-41g; calories-2070
    non training: protein-235g; carbs-85g; fat-39g; calories-1675

lifting every other day and cardio every day.

Are you on a cycle right now? You may have gained lbm, and IMO you're not getting enough protein even for a cut.

Aren't you a little young to have done or to be starting a cycle? And if you are were is your pct? Research and patience are your best friend at your age brother.

1: His test levels are probably flowing through the roof. Not to mention possible damage to the endocrine system(I know, everyone excuse, but more on this later)But never positive without blood test.
2: The op says he trained for 2 years then took 6 months off then back on for a year. So do you think the first two years of training were super serious then 6 months off? I don't know the whole story so we will say serious training...maybe a year and a half. Could definitely use more training time imo
3: The op also states that his body fat % is in the 20's. Usually not a good idea to start a cycle that high, but it has been done
4:Where is the op's PCT? That is the biggest no go to me right there

Last but not least I read the other post "Roids at 20" or whatever the title might be. Let me first say that Heavy is pretty much a God around here and most of the IM bros would love to have his body(not like that fags LOL). All of his advice is on point and he has done so much for IM. In this case though I think that getting on at such an early age(I know, 24 is not horrible but) with your own natural production fine(most likely), lack of serious training(could be wrong, op could be a world class lifter), high body fat, and no planned PCT, this looks like TRT would be waiting in the wings. Now I do applaud the op for coming to IM to gain knowledge. He came to the right place. But, for all the guys that posted up after Heavy said he started his first cycle at such a young age, lets think about all the guys who didn't. Possibly all the guys on TRT. I guess I am so passionate about this is I just found out that I have to be on TRT for the rest of my life and I am only 33. Now, I started juicing when I was 21. I have probably done over 20 cycles. I love roids. I love the power, the feeling you get when on and all the other positives. But, could my TRT been prevented by waiting...maybe. Could it have been prevented be having more knowledge...maybe. I suppose I would be happy pinning the rest of my life but my worry now is my wife and I want another child. So will this screw me...who knows, but I guess in the end I want the op to have a choice to juice...not be forced to.

i am 2 weeks into my first cycle. and the training split was due to serious family issues. and i dont think 24 is to young... i have pct lined up for the cycle, but didn't worry about posting it because im not asking for a cycle critique, just advice on opinions as to the 1lb gain. i mean it's only 1 lb but i didn't knew whether or not to worry.

while on cycle, you can gain weight while still dropping bf as long as your diet and training are good. IMO though, you're not getting enough protein.

1 lb gain?? Look in the mirror, do you look fatter? If not don't worry about it. Maybe more cardio? Diet seems fine for a cut but people respond very differently to diets
