when im done im walking like a robot cause my legs are so sore and if i stand in one spot my legs are shaking non stop, by far the single most hard hit muscle group that i do by far

Alright...firstly I am posting this in the Anabolic zone, b/c this is my home and there are sure to be some fitness fags that disagree with my thinking on this in the training section. This is where the hardcore hang...
Now to the question...your wheels...how are you rolling?
I trained legs today at my gym and watched everyone stare at disbelief at the weight, movements and sets I was doing. Then I looked at their wheels...can you say Colonel Sanders?
This is a problem that I have seen for so long, and finally decided to post about. Cats will do 5 sets of curls and train chest twice a week, but hardly even scratch the surface of their leg development.
So my question to you: Where is your leg training? Do you hit them harder than your other muscle groups? Can you still walk after your last set of squats? Do you leave the gym limping and barely able to make it to your car?
If not, then you probably aren't hitting them hard enough. 3 sets of leg curls, extensions and calf raises just isn't going to get it done bros. Squats, Leg Press, Deads...that's where it's at.
Yes, it hurts and sometimes you may even puke...but as HeavyIron would ask, "Do you really want to be a freak?"

Legs are the most important parts of the body to hit. The more leg work, the bigger your entire body will become (fact). If you dont get under the rack, you are missing out big time. Deads and presses are also a must. I work my legs harder than any other group of muscles in my body...and there are times I can't even walk over to my car to get home. All body builders should know this....working legs benefits the entire body. It's a waste to work just your arms and chest!!! Good post GMO....as always bro.

My legs are my only bodypart that hurts for days afterwards. I really blast them because I'm part Colonel Sanders. LOL. I have bad genetics and small boned.
I have to plan my wardrobe around my leg workouts. I also have to time them correctly. If I do them before school, the possibility of falling down a huge flight of stairs increases 10 fold.
Nothing like doing lunges back to the locker room and collapsing in a chair.

Legs were always my "genetic limitation" as well. I injured my shoulder many years ago and was forced to ONLY train legs for almost a year. My legs blew the hell up. You'll be surprised how fast a lagging body part will come around if proper attention is given to it.
Yup..baggy jeans day.![]()

I under estimated the importance of solid wheels in competition. Mine are ok size wise but what separates ok legs from great legs Are the separations and depth. A leg can look good from the front then you turn and they disappear. The outer sweep and teardrop must be very well developed or the are gone when you turn around. Guys with good legs look good from all angles and that's what I'm striving for now. I'm hitting legs twice a week. I've actually only been training arms on chest and back days. I'm hitting them with low rep heavy squats and sldl on Monday's and then high rep leg press leg extension and leg curls standing and laying down on Fridays. It's only been a month but I can see alot of improvement.

I actually have a decent set of quads on me. I played hockey (goalie) since I was 5yrs old (33 now). My calves are a different story....LOL. Many guys at the gym actually comment on the amount of weight I can press (5ft 9in and 175lbs). Many times I have almost fell down my stairs going down to the kitchen on the morning after leg day. I found that my upper body gets bigger the more I abuse my legs in the gym. Maybe its just me, but it seems that way.
Oh, and my car rides on black faced 20's yo.....LOL
I'm not too happy with my calves either. I've tried everything.

Guys, working legs has a big effect on upper body muscle growth. It doesn't exactly pump testosterone upwards, but with legs being the bodies biggest muscle and all the other muscles it takes to do heavy squats, it causes the biggest release of testosterone and HGH.
These hormones travel throughout the body and rebuild the chest and triceps muscles you worked out yesterday as well as your legs. Anyone who has done heavy squats knows they work way more muscles than just the legs. Right?

Lol but heavy doesn't even have wheelsha ha jk
Squat until you puke! It's the only way man
Legs day is just getting going when my cns is spazzing out and I'm shaking like a leaf.

I would have loved to snap a photo when I was finishing up with high-rep leg extensions. My quads looked ridiculous...even though they are some hairy mofos.
Yeah, I don't shave...if you don't compete and still shave your legs...you probably need to check your sexual orientation.![]()

I hit legs hard for several months out of the year and then usually take a break - I know I know - but then I return to them. There are many chicken legged dorks at the gym. Luckily, my genetics allow me to maintain decent wheels even when it's been a while since I went hard and heavy on them. For a MASS phase, Deadlifts are KING!
Monday was leg day, my 4th set into squats i almost fainted and stumbled my way outside into my car and sat there for 10 mins then went home
day after my legs were on fire, only thing i did diff was less rest btwn sets but i guess my body couldnt handle it

im blessed with nasty calvesvery happy about this
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DID LEGS MONDAY AND STILL CAN FEEL THEM , I love watching up to the squat rack and seeing some pencil leg dude in there doing curls LMFAO BITCH MOVE OVER DADDY IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
For sure I hit legs the hardest, sometimes my other areas suffer because of it, mostly back because my hams are still sore when i go to deadlift.
heavy and deep every rep. I try and train like platz, every so often I'll do 225 for max reps. Real high reps leg ext, and heavy squats for as many as possible.

Most of these fucks at any gym aren't there to work out. They go there to talk shit and be seen. I like being seen, working harder than everyone there. All these ppl do is half reps. Bars loaded with weight that I world get stuck with, and trust me I'm not weak lol. They like doing the glamour muscles and neglect what in my opinion separates the men from the fuckin pussys. LEGS. Great post G

I see and hear these "jersey shore" type idiots say all the time that their legs are fine they just want to bulk up their upper body...'nah my legs are gooood I just wanna bulk up my chest...I got good legs"........Yeah sure you do champ....
They go on over to the leg press load it up with 3 plates each side and move it up and down about 3 inches and think they are the hulk.
Me I LOVE! leg day, squats are by far my fave. Squat til you wanna puke!

Yeah...I hate the half ROM bitches. I even called a cat "half ROM" one day, he just laughed and had no idea what I was talking about. Fucking douche bag!
When I played college ball, your reps didn't even count unless they were full ROM. A half ROM just gave you another rep to do. We need the ROM police in the gyms forcing bitches to train properly. Train right or GTFO!![]()

If leg day doesn't put fear in your heart and a knot in your gut when you are getting to the gym, then why go? Legs are the absolute most brutal session of the week. If you don't stagger out like you've had your ass beat, get back in the fucking gym and train.
