Thread: help nicked vein

My quad squirted like a fire hydrant last week. Took over a year for that to happen, my own damn fault, was in a hurry and didn't pull it out straight.

I think I'm going to start to aspirate going forward as I have not in awhile..

i never pinned in a vien but i hit my glute once and a lot of blood came out when i pulled out not the usualy drop or 2 (if i even bleed) and i looked and the mirror and was like .... yup im going to die lmao. my very first pin aloost got infected. so far the scariest thing for me is when one of my injects lumped up

Shit just happened to me 5 minutes ago,,i had to search for this thread to post. I didnt notice anything until the pull out and when i checked before injecting, i didnt have any blood in the syringe.

Im still light headed and my foot is tingling. My breath smells like i kissed a goat.

Happened to me for the first time last year shooting tren. Was on the floor on all fours, thought I was going to die!!! Lmao. It's a right of passage!

You will be fine. Some of the inject went in to the vein. Which takes it to the heart so you will get a tight chest which leads to the coughing.

Holy shit I've been pinning for 8+ months now and haven't done this yet I mean I've gotten light headed after one but no coughing fit I feel like a virgin. =-/

Just left the gym...still feel a little off but glad that i know what to expect.

I usually aspirate but have yet to hit a vane. Sounds scary at least I won't think I'm dyeing I hope!

veins, arteries, capillaries... Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart, veins carry deoxygenated blood directly to the heart. I hope you guys are just hitting capillary beds when talking about all of this bleeding from injections. Going into a vein would give you a distinct 'flash' of blood when you aspirate, and you most definitely must aspirate. You wouldn't be able to hit an artery unless you are way the hell off and driving that needle with conviction. You'd also be in considerable pain, seeing as they are innervated (have nerves around them) and wrapped in musculature. Every vein is a direct pathway to your heart, then your lungs, then your heart, then potentially your brain. It's why junkies shoot up the way they do. Be careful, inject yourselves properly in the proper sites. FYI, IMHO...

and everything is fatal. every heartbeat eventually leads to death, so lift big, live well, fuck a lot

So how exactly do you stop the bleeding when you hit a vein?

It happens as long as you are pinning. Like you said live and learn or just read, read and read some more. Guys on here will help you A LOT. Just ask. Good luck

Dlat glad I ran across this!

I did my 5th amp this morning so far so good. No blood or anything. About 7 drops get wasted during the needle change and getting rid of the bubbles (haven't found a way around that yet)

But, the other week when I did my third amp I got like instantly sweaty, and hot, and after I had to lay down for a minute. 3 mins later I was fine.

I am not looking forward to the day I hit a vein!
