Thread: Usps fucked me!

My wife asks me why I tend to be cynical. This is why!

To give the courier services some credit, I don't know how they do it. I'm lucky if I can find the girls house im going to while using GPS. Most houses (mine included) are poorly numbered for starters. People often forget that those working for these companies are people just like you, trying to make a living. They aren't some robots who have been programmed for 99.9 accuracy, they're people who make mistakes too. Like in this case. And don't rag on the poor old man, he didn't do anything wrong. He probably lives alone, got a package at his door and got excited thinking his kids mailed him a xmas present. Be happy be brought it to you, and thankful. He could of packaged it up and returned to sender and you wouldn't see it for a while. If it was another case and was contraband instead he could have called the cops instead.

Sure there are scumbag theives out there, I myself just had that happen to me and they should all burn to death, but sometimes it's a simple mistake instead.

Good point flexx, its not the mistake I was so pissed about. It was the fact that they weren't willing to help me once they had made the mistake. They didn't account for it even being possible that they didn't deliver to the right place and it was not their fault but mine. I just wanted better customer service and a little help finding my misplaced stuff.

Also, that would have been lame to have called the cops but it wasn't steroids or anything or I would have been worried. Surely it isn't illegal to have bottles that claim there is chemicals inside them. I don't know how that would go down to be honest....

i had a package coming from bodybuilding.com,was tracking it .then it poped up delivered.package was noware to be found.i spot the ups man jump in my car and chase him down.he gives me my package.said he has to say it was delivered when he did because he can only drive so many hours.i think he was telling the truth.

I mean shit they just lied to me about it and didn't care one bit.

Thanks for all the replies though guys, I was feeling pretty helpless. I don't think you can assault postal workers being government work and all. Man I was pissed though. Never dealt with such bullshit in my life. Convinced the chems company to offer signature upon deliver on their site to be added to orders though. Definitely the way to go as far as I'm concerned. Hell keep the fucking thing at the post office and I'll come get it you incompetent bastards.

Man, atleast the old guy brought the shiite to you. But, he opened that shiite to see if it was anything he could keep. I'm guessing from experience.

My mail carriers lose my bills and mags all the time, and noone ever returns that shiite to me. And I get other peoples mail all the time, too. This is just s.o.p for these guys.

So, I just put the shiite back into the mailbox...phuqers!

And pay all my bills over the computer, no wonder they're going out of business.

The thing is, they are closing down a lot of their hubs so the terrible service is only going to get worse. GREAT!
