    Lumps from Pinnin' Test??

I've been bridging for about six months due to various reasons that were out of my control. I'm blasting soon but my plan was that it should have happened a long time ago.
I've developed a kick arse lump on my delt which almost looks like I've been pinning synthol. It would look better if it was on my other shoulder as well however it's not and the idea that it could be a malignant tumor is always at the back of my mind.

Is this common? Should I get it checked out? It's been there for about four months now.

Scar tissue or sterile abscess probably. Best to get it checked out eventually. On prop cycles, my delt develops a bump that takes quite a while to disappear due to the inflammation of the ester. But your case sounds completely different.

Might be best to get it checked out then. I assumed it must have been pretty common but maybe not.

    Thanks fellas.

If you injected there recently, could it be you missed the muscle and the oil is resting below the skin??

Ive been pinning once a week and hitting delts alone. The lump isn't quite where I've been pinning but it's close and it's just slightly sore to rub. Quad shots seem to cripple me for some reason so I tend to avoid them.
Ill hit glutes for a while and see what happens. If its still there in a few weeks I'll make an appointment with the doc and fess up.

    Thanks for chiming in guys.

Hold off for a week unless you get a fever. I've had this happen a couple of times before, and it sounds to me like it's just oil resting under your skin. You either didn't go deep enough or you hit inbetween your delts. Take a hot bath and massage the shit out of the area for a half hour. This will help disperse the oil and it will decrease fairly quickly in a couple of days.

There's not really much soreness, no redness, heat, fever or any signs of it being an abscess.
Could have possibly gone between the delts. I'm pretty sure it's getting smaller but Im not positive. I'll massage it tomorrow, stop pinning there for a while and see how it goes.
Im thinking its gotta be oil related but I thought it would have disappeared by now.

I've had some painless bumps that lasted for a week. A year ago I pinned my right glut and I scratched my ass about 5 days later and I felt a bump the size of a golf ball cut in half. It was completely painless, but I started massaging it and it was gone in a few days. It was just a build up of oil because I didn't go deep enough.
