TGB - you said it right. You are lucky to have that little girl. My daughter also gives me strength to carry on and makes me realize I HAVE to stay a rock for her and my wife. Although, the both of them are really the rock. My biggest fear is losing either one of them. I worry about sudden unexpected bad luck/accident that takes my life. The thing that bothers me most is not the fear of the unknown of dying but the fact that I would be separated from them. Your friend's untimely death strikes a nerve as I am also 35yoa. We never know when our time is up. Can only hope for the best and never skip an opportunity to let those close to us know how much we care about them.

I'm sorry to hear about your personal loss and that of your friend.
Perhaps you can get closer with his brother and do some training together because I can imagine it's terribly hard on him aswell.
I'm 55 years old and have been loosing a lot of family and friends lately myself. My Stepfather & Stepmother both within a six week period.
It's never easy, all we can do is be strong for the ones who remain.
Hang in there bro and as was stated from another poster just be there for your loved ones and appreciate every day.
