    Trt?

Kind of just looking for advice. 33 years old 6-4 280 lbs. Lived in the gym from 14-24 got back into it a few years ago. I was really struggling to make gains or lose fat so I thought I would run a cycle. So I purchased everything and then decided to get blood work done last minute just because. My total T level came back at around 270, which explains my issues. I ran the cycle and didn't drop as much fat as I wanted but did get strong as shit.

Now I need to decide if I should even bother to PCT or just cruise, or maybe come off long enough to get retested for TRT. I do have insurance, but from what I read sounds like they will prescribe androgel and I really don't like that idea.

Is it possible that a cycle and then PCT could jump start my system even if was previously screwed or is getting to pre-cycle T levels the best I can hope for?

It is unlikely that PCT will get you test levels back to normal if they were not there to begin with. I was put on HRT 2 years ago and Brother I can tell you it has been a real life changer. Yes they tried the gel at first with me but it wasn't practical so I requested inj test cyp and I do the injections myself as most of us do. The test is covered by sript. ins. so the cost is very reasonable. I wouldn't cycle anymore till I got this taken care of. An endocrinologist or urologist or even some general practitioners do this sort of thing. I would do PCT and then wait 2 months and get tested again. You want to make sure you wait long enough to present as you really are. Good luck Bro.

I was on the same boat for a few years...

I kept telling my primary doc how I felt..had no sex drive at all and felt sluggish for a few year...everytime the doc did blood work my T levels were within range but on the really low end...like T levels of a 80yr old...

I took matter into my own hands and crashed my natural T levels and went to an endo and the endo scripted test e 200mg every other wk for now..

At first the endo wanted to androgel but I wasn't able to do so since I have an infant and don't want shit rubbing off on him so the endo gave me injections since my T levels were very, very low

I was like this for years and I finally did something about it on my own, not sayin to do what I did but some docs just brush you off even after tellin them you fell like shit for a few years. But with your 270 T level range I do not think they will get you on TRT, you will have to be below the lowest range number for them to consider startin TRT.

The range was 300-1200 so I am below the range. I just don't want the gel. It sounds like a pain in the ass.

Have to apply it daily, and be careful who I touch afterwords. You know how many times I wake up, take a shower and then the old lady decides since I'm all nice and clean we should get dirty? The gel ruins that.

^^maybe tellin your doc you have a baby or some shit...

I know for me...when I crashed my T levels and got bloodwork for my endo my T levels were only in the double digits and my doc initially wanted to do the gel or the patches, but I told her I have an infant (which is true) but then the doc looked at my T levels again and right away suggested injections...

High body fat will contribute to a low testosterone. Aromatase is abundant in adipose tissue. So, if you are carrying a lot of it yout testosterone will be low due to its conversion to estrogen. Could be that if you drop down to a legitimate 15% or lower you may be in normal rage.

This is a very good point. Also total test only tells part of the story, you need complete lab work.

Im on trt and didnt have to get bloodwork done. I havent been off test inj for 15yrs. My doc just rights the scripts. Get generic, call around and price per bottle will be much less. I used to just pay for the upjohn which is over a 100.00 per 10ml bottle. not good. Upjohn good for sure but generic is just as good, much cheeper.

It might be 10x harder to get the body fat down with very low T levels...low dose test might do the trick, but diet has to be strict!
