I have a friend who takes "Bupropion" daily for stress and to help quit smoking. She read up that this prescription should not be taking with Ephedrine (Ephedrine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Now I mentioned to her about clen and she is on the positive side of using, but she wants to make sure its ok to use while taking the prescription drug before getting on clen? She is active and eats healthy and goes to the gym weekly. She just wants that extra few fat pounds off. Her stats are 27 5'4" @ 130lbs and a single mother. Thanks for the help if provided. Posted over in the women's section but it seems that place is dead and thought I'd have a better chance here.
Everyone is different but clen make me edgy and have minor anxiety that I normally wouldn't have. I would see where she could become more nervous when the clen kicks in. But the shit sure does work if she can handle it
i would say no way jose as it could send her into a manic episode as they are stimulants. wellbutrin, zyban as the drug is known as, is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor along with other actions, should never be used with nothing as it is a powerful antideppresant and has a high affinity to make people manic on its own, so if u add clenbuterol, even albuterol will up the chances and that wont be fun for her. plus the least it will do is make her feel severely anxious. hope i helped.

What if she came off the prescription while on clen? Of course wait a week to clean out the system before taking it.
IMHO, it isn't worth the risk. If she is on the XR version of Wellbutrin, it will stay in her system longer. Clen is long acting also and the two could have side effects. Also, is she taking Wellbutrin for Major Depression or Seasonal Affective Disorder? From what I have read, SAD is usually managed with Wellbutrin compared to other harsh Anti-Depressants.
In regards to the possibility of sending her into a manic state, this is VERY possible as I have seen it myself in clinical.
If she is interested in some sort of fat loss, she should talk to her doctor about possibly taking some sort of ADHD med like adderall. Wellbutrin blocks the reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine while adderall causes the release of the two chemicals. So what is occurring when the two are stacked is that there is almost an over abundance of the chemicals. ADHD have amphetamines in them...
In no way am I encouraging her/you to "seek out drugs" but the use of clen on top of Wellbutrin is kind of a risky situation. In this situation, it would be Better to safe than sorry.

Anti-Depressants are kind of an "upper" so stacking clenbuterol on top of it would be an added "upper". She should discuss with her doctor the possibility of maybe adding some sort of ADHD medicine into her regime. Rationale is that some ADHD mess contain amphetamines that help disrupt the depressed affect and proved the patient with energy.

Thanks for the advice and Im not trying to disagree with you here. Just trying to get as much info as I can. If you were in her position would you ask your doctor if it was ok to take Clen. That is only if you come off the prescription for a few weeks?
Also she just mentioned to me she might come off but she did that before and it gave her migraines.
Look at my edited post. I added in some info about ADHD medications....
Also, you do understand that (if I am correct) clenbuterol isn't even prescribed to patients in the United States? That's why most doctors will place asthmatics on short acting drugs like Albuterol.

There are several ADHD treatments available these days, from counseling, to behavioral therapy, to drug therapy. Drug therapy is popular for everything from ADHD to hair loss, to weight loss. This is used widely for all age groups, but in elderly persons, the risk is greater for an adverse drug reaction. Here is a good article I found that discusses ADHD/ADD diet for children and adults.
