    TRT an blood recheck

Im 36 years old and have felt really bad for last two years and recently checked on TRT. My level was in 348 with first dr who denied it. My level was at 307 with current dr. He started me on on 200mg shot of testosterone cyp every two weeks in the office. I have done this for 3 months. Now the last month I have added 250mg every week without his knowledge. So one 200mg shot from dr one week and i pin one 250mg at home. And I really feel good. Better workouts, sex life, better mood. Now my dr says he will test my blood after two more office injections. So how long after shots does it take for my levels to drop? When should i stop doing my own weekly injection? I dont want dr to stop this or lower my dose any cause i feel great.

I am 47 and on TRT myself. It is a shame that a person can not be honest with the doctor and at the same time you get a realistic base line. If you feel good at this level this is where you should be, whether you are at 600 or 1,200. The real number to look at is the bio - available or free T. To answer the question it takes about 30 days for level to drop back as if it were not taken.

I don't know anyone who wouldn't feel great on 450mg/wk of test, lol. No really I also am on hrt 2 years now. As bulldog said I would give 30 days before wanting to do blood work in your situation. In the long run Bro you don't want to run 450 mg/wk for the rest of your life. It should not take that much to get you to a good stable level where you will feel very good. It takes time and patience as they will start low and be conservative and slowly bring it up to get you there. I know you want it right away and most of us probably cheat a little. But you do want to find the real dose that gets you to a good sustainable place you can maintain longterm. Good luck bro

Now I see I misread what you are taking. Sorry but you get what I am saying, I think it still applies.

At the hospital, I made a suggestion to the PCP about viagra and TRT. Blood and urine samples will have to be taken. AW shit! I had to pretend that I forgot about the appointment so that I could get some of the TEST E out of me. Level was at 233ng/dl!!! I began to fell miserable and depressed.

I felt a little better a few days after the first shot of test enanthate, but it's a drop in a bucket for my body. My last blood test had the results with the TEST level over 1,500ng/dl. I felt like I was walking on cushions! lol
I'm used to keeping my level between 800-1500ng/dl a month and it has been that way since January or February, 2008.
My PCP's over that period of time didn't give about the level, but just after Thanksgiving, the urologist was about to blow the roof off the hospital and threaten to make it known if I didn't stop taking the steroids. L'lL motherfucker! lol

I'm going to have to tell this doctor next year, next week, on the 6th of January, that I don't want the stuff because that dose is too low damn for me and I'm not your average man. If he says, "The dosage will increase after 6 months to a year, I'll stay with the therapy, if not, I'm going to tell him, "Be safe Doc"!

100-200 wk cyp is normal for trt. Some hrt docs give deca for joint issues. Just make sure he monitors your prolactin.

Thanks for the help. This is a general practice dr and no way he is gonna up me to 200mg every week. I feel better than i have and years wanna keep it that way. If an an AI is needed, would something like AIFM do the job at this dose?

By supplementing on your off weeks you not only increased your test but more importantly have made your levels more consistant, which is probably the reason why you feel better. See if your doc will let you pin at home and if so break up your prescribed dose and pin 100 each week; or even better 50 e3d. Keeping your levels consistant by more frequent injections you should enable you to use less test.

If bloodwork shows high estrogen ask the doc for an AI like adex or aromasin. If he won't you'll have to use a research lab.

Why road trip? Most of them will do it over the phone with bloodwork and a physical from your family doc.

It's definetely not a bad plan. Just saying if one doesn't have the time to do it, then it really isn't necessary...that's all.

It was a quote from the movie Count of Monte Cristo. I guess you would have to see the movie. It's all good man.I can save some serious cash but doing everything from up here. I appreciate the suggestion. It's been a mild winter so far anyway.

    Do a search

Like it's being said on the forum,"There A HRT CLINIC ON EVERY CORNER"! down in Florida. The clinics are raking in more cash than they ever thought possible. No medical exam and no prescription need! Simply tell them what they want to hear. I used,"I found out that my test levels are below 300ng/dl. No sex drive, depressed, (sob story continues).
My PCP and my urologist won't put me on TRT"

    The RESPONSE: "NO PROBLEM"!

I'm going to be in heaven when when I get my stuff!
