    Knee Pain

Has anyone else ever experienced knee pain after doing a shot in the quad? It does not happen right away but a few hours later my knee on the same leg has some mild pain in it, and it last for a couple of days. It is not that bad but just enough to where it is slightly uncomfortable. Just wondering because it has happened every time out of the last 3 times and in both legs.

Happened to me before.....from what I understand the oil is leaking back out of the muscle and sliding down towards the knee. It can be very painful. I've had it last for a week before from one shot.....it does go away though.

Well that sux. I use a 1" needle and it should be in deep enough for it to stay in the muscle. I guess now I am going to have to try the method of pulling the skin before the shot and then only let go after the shot is removed. This is supposed to help cover up the injection site by your fatty layer and prevent leakage.

I pull the skin also and go in at a slight angle with an 1.5" 23g needle and bury that sucker all the way.....haven't had that knee pain since.....hope this helps

I've had that if I pin too low on the quad, if I stick to the upper half it's fine though. My first pin ever was in the quad and not really painful at all, I've used em pretty much exclusively for a while now (cruising)

Now you have a point there it may have been too low on the side quad. I will try to move it up on the next one to see if that helps. I am doing just a tad over 3cc do you think that has something to do with it? I figure its a large muscle and should be able to handle 3 no prob, but I could be wrong. Can you do a shot in the top of your quad never tried that but I was just wondering. I always hit the side. They are my favorite because I am in a nice comfortable position and I can see everything easily and I can take my time with it.

I've done 4cc's in my upper quad and had almost no pain, and I won't claim to have massive legs. My very first shot I went with quad just because it's so visible and meaty lol, it didn't hurt the first time and it still doesn't now. Once in a while you'll run into a nerve in the quad but I usually just inject a little before that depth or change the angle and go a little deeper. When you hit a nerve you'll know it, it twitches a little and you'll hesitate to go in any further. If you change the angle of the pin even a tiny bit though it'll slide right in with no issues. Delt injections give me some joint pain no matter what and injecting too low on the outer quad gives me some knee pain so I think the solvents/hormone definitely can cause issues there. IMO pinning long esters in larger muscles and short esters every day is the best way to minimize PIP. Glute/quad/chest can handle large volumes of oil with no problems, and if you use insulin syringes pinning every day with short esters is not really an issue

They are not bad at all depending on what you are planning on putting in there. Prop will prob be sore and you may not be able to lift your arm but the long esters should be fine just do not go over 2 cc.

It happened to me one time. It honestly felt like I shot it in the pocket between two muscles and it just worked its way down. I changed my angle and I've never had it happen since.

I was thinking about hitting quads but I have had great success with glutes so I guess I will stick with it. Quad shots seem to be hit or miss with people. Some love them and the rest hate them.

I'd give em a shot bro, or atleast two. They might hurt a bit the first time but if you're one of those that doesn't have issues then quads are real nice

I guess I will have to give it a try. My next cycle will be Prop so glutes only arent gonna cut it.....need more options.

Dude you got lots of options. Quads, delts, tris, pecs, traps, lats. If your wanting to be risky you can try bis...but it was crippling for me. Some guys like it. You can hit multiple spots in each area as well, like for tris the long head and the horseshoe. Lats are good if you can reach them, they can take a lot of oil. I just reach across and press my elbow against the wall to reach lol
