Synvisc Injections
Just got one in my wrist today... Holly hell, it f'ing hurt. Felt like my wrist was going to shoot off the end of my arm. Anyone else ever had this injection? if so.. did it work, and for how long?

had one done in my knee 2 years back and its been all good since!! caught a fever after the inj. dont know if it had anything to do with it or was just a coincidence tho.
Heal quick dude, the wrists are a bitch to deal with

It's a synthetic lubricant for arthritis. I had a serious car accident that completely shattered my wrist and I subsequently lost about 3/4 of the cartlidge in my wrist. The shit is like a super thick gel, so when they inject it, the pressure in my wrist went through the roof.
