Shit all you guys make me feel like the old fucker. LOL
    I'm 55 and I'm not cruisin YET.
I have considered it and have had some interesting conversations with several here and other places about it.
But for the time being I like to do a couple cycles per year but most likely I will make the choice to do self administered TRT before much longer.
I'm in no hurry and I'm going to wait and see how I feel after this next cycle.
Most likely when(IF) I make that decision I will most likely go on about 250mgs test E per wk year round.
I enjoy reading about it so obviously the temptation is there.

I failed PCT (twice) when I was 32 and never recovered. Decided to start self administered TRT at 35, my total test was around 350. So far, pretty happy with the decision.

I started in my mid twenties. PCT has never been successful on any protocol I've tried and there has been many. For me it makes no sense to come completely off if you have committed yourself to this lifestyle. Homeostasis is a mf'er and the set point that was achieved with AAS always reverts back via genetics. I'm happy with my decision.

Yeah I'm 50 and still take time off and according to my bloods I still recover. When I don't recover any more then it will be a different story. I don't care to much about shrinking up a little so it's still a no brainer to take time off. What's the difference? I can put on 25 lbs in 8 weeks and be pretty jacked up again in short order. So the only disadvantage to taking time off is shrinking up for 4 or 5 months. Shrinking up a little won't kill you and you will feel better for taking the time off.

Do you really need TRT or just looking to keep your size between cycles? Do you want to have kids in the future? IMO, it's not a decision that should be taken lightly.

I started a cycle (1 of many) after my 30th birthday with the intent to cruise after and never looked back.

IME 200-250mg ew works great to keep gains but 100-125mg ew works for TRT.

Mind telling us what the means at 50? In other words, what number does your blood test show?

    (Asking cause I'm 44).

If that's you in the avatar at 50, you look great, and I am glad to see that you can look like that at 50 with regular time off.

But I am taking relatively short breaks between mostly oral cycles with TUDCA.

Usual breaks have been 5-6 weeks in between cycles 3-8 weeks long. (no cycles longer than 4 months for me). I figure taking breaks like I do should help me remain virile in the interim.

Not having kids, Just looking to keep some size and strength. I don't compete in bodybuilding or lifting. i feel great and get good results from just 500 test c weekly. (and some superDMZ) Just feel so blah when off cycle. just looking at options and listening to input.

I'd start with a full hormone panel when off cycle. If your numbers are low, consider it, if not you're probably better off to cycle and recover fully between.

That's just my two pennies, perhaps some other guys would be more aggressive with the syringe...
