    Newbie wandering aimlessly reading Greek!

    Total newbie here...

Found myself contemplating a PH cycle and wondering if it would help a shoulder injury. Received a little advice so started reading.

All I can say at this point is WTF!?

Is everyone in here a single (or gay) pharmacology expert!?

With so many receptors and compounds and reactions and sides, it all sounds like Greek to me.

Also, I can't imagine too many wives being cool about their husbands experimenting with some of this stuff.

What is a newbie to do? Just stay away, I guess.

Still can't help but wonder how anyone manages to learn this stuff. Seems like an entire set of encyclopedias could be written about all this. I doubt my doctor would even understand most of it.

    Used to.. DL:375lb, Sqt:335lb, Bnch:260lb
Now... Weak as a kitten, but fighting back.
Age:38. Trained 11/06-12/09. Feet surgeries & hip problems:12/09-12/11. Fighting back:12/11+. New Training Journal and Food Log.

Years of research man. And a lot of us don't tell our significant others. My girlfriend thinks I just take a lot of supplements and know some mass building secrets.

This. Years and years of reading medical studies, boards such as this one, and an insane amount of hours googling anything and everything i wanted to know. The funny thing is, i've been learning and researching (and using) for the past 7 years, and the more i learn... the more i realize how little i truely know in the grand scheme of things.

As far as the wives/gf situation. A lot of guys in here have awesome understanding wives, i personally have just kept my GF in the dark about it so far. I'm on tren right now though and really wish I could explain to her sometimes why I can be a bit moody, hah.

Wow. This became a more interesting post than I thought it would have.

I can't imagine putting my wife through a bunch of mood-swings while I kept my "juicy" little secret. I guess it's cool if she's cool with it. Still, if she's not, she's gotta wonder what's the matter with you somedays.

And what about a day job!? How do hormonal/emotional swings fit into an environment like that? I can't imagine, but surely not particularly well.

I'm not knocking the lifestyle, honestly. But, along the way, there have to be some times when you're (shall we say) "not quite yourself" while you learn the next lesson.

    I can't imagine.

Well as you can see everyone has a slightly different outlook on this.
Honestly even if your not " ON" don't we all have days where we're a little moody jus because of things going on in life. Myself find that I actually pay closer attention to how I react to friends, family, co-workers as its the responsible thing to do. It comes with the territory IMO

I wasn't myself UNTIL I started using testosterone. I feel better, look better and I am actually better! It's all about what you make out of it.

Testosterone improves, mood, energy and libido.

    I feel great on Testosterone.

Trenbolone on the other hand makes me want to commit homicide so I don't use it very often.

    My wife knows I use.

My wife gives me shots. She knows I take test, nothing else. Also, it takes a lot of time to learn the stuff. I've been using for about 5-6 years total. I still don't know everything. Doctors don't either. They will know the basics but no details. For example, my family dr wanted to put me on 1x200mg test per month for trt. That is just enough to keep my production from not occurring. When I asked about once per week, I was told way too dangerous and would be too much.

Fwiw, 1x250mg per week keeps my levels around 800. Just because they're a dr, doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.

these guys deserve respect.at least from people like me who want to know how use steroids in a responsible manner.gentelmen like these are responsible for educating todays generation of steroid users.it would be nice if we had more clinical studies an such.but since society puts a stigma on aas usage.an drives us underground.an so forums like this are pricless to todays steriod user.as far as the "mood swings" are concerened well most of that is propaganda, except tren.LOL! as stated above much more confident an calm individual on test.an at 40 im quite a bit more moody an irritable not on it.as far as that gay comment, well, yes!i think half the fuckers here are gay wads.JK! LOL!

No doubt. The wealth of knowledge on this site is extraordinary. Not just that though. People share. Care even. Who couldn't be grateful for so many guys willing to lend an ear and offer some relevant advice, of their own free will?

Gotta take your hat off to those wives that are supportive too, huh?

I've learned some in-depth knowledge of a few topics in my time. But with cabinet-making, for example, if I fuck up I can cut a new piece of wood. Gyno, or some other permanent condition, adds a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the whole chemical engineering thing though.

Who you calling gay? I love everybody here but in a strictly no homo way

Lol, i'm single right now but I can't imagine being with someone that doesn't support what I do. Talk to your wife, she might surprise you on how much she supports you. Just be honest, have facts before you talk, be knowledgeable and say you understand the risks but it's what you want.

There's just soooo much to know though. Gyno would be verrry high on my "Definitely Do NOT Want" list! Plus, there's the whole dying thing. That would be a downer.

It's scary considering venturing into a world with so much at stake, so much knowledge seemingly necessary, but minimal knowledge acquired.

My only related experience was with AnabolicRx+Novadex, years ago, and that just made we want to kill people!

I'm all open to suggestions on a different PH cycle (I will be bulking within the next month or two), but I'm not about to add "syringes" to the bottom of my wife's Walmart shopping list!
