Accidental inject into fat? Does EO move around easier than oil?
Hi Guys,
I picked up some extra gear to supplement my TRT - thinking of trying some 8 week blasts this year. It's suspended in EO instead of cottonseed/grapeseed oil. I tried two doses, and have a weird effect - bubble/lump on my glute, almost feels like a ridge running along it, no heat no serious pain, most importantly I "crashed" from my TRT level.
Same effect has happened once with my prescription meds. One of my first TRT shots was a 400mg EOW dose, same effects: bubble/lump/ridge no pain except for something unexpected being there, slowly subsided, didn't feel "right."
Could this be what happens when you hit fat? It seems to fit -- lump, slower absorption, not as effective. Do I need to make sure to go deep with the EO-based products? Maybe I spiked my E2 too high? (Have not been on an AI for TRT-level doses)
I'm not fat -- about 10-12% depending on mode of measurement -- but am new to injections and my positioning and depth is not super consistent yet.

It will disperse into the blood stream in time.I wouldnt worry about it.Just make sure you use a 1.5 inch when you do glutes and 1 inch for everything else.

1.5" 23ga. Not *all* the way in. Some previous times I went all the way - easier to keep it steady and not move after aspiration.
Avoid that spot where it lumped up for a while and bury that pin.

Thanks. The only reason it's a worry is at the TRT dose, I notice the slow absorption day to day - it doesn't make me feel any better!
I'll bury that pin deep and take my time today, I think going to fast can cause the issue too.
could be a reaction to the EO but I think it'd be painful or itchy in that case, totally possible you just didn't go deep enough but at 10-12% 1 inch should probably do it. Just make sure it's all the way in in the future, and personally I'd be using an AI even if only to ensure you're getting as much of that test as possible. Also I like 2x a week dosing even for cruising/trt so maybe give that a thought. Using insulin pins makes it a walk in the park but even 25ga. are fine.
Thanks for the replies guys - everything is settling down, Freaky chunks/lumps almost gone. I think E3D was just too much between two cheeks, there may have also been some kind of physical drama - injected outside of muscle perhaps.
Going back to twice a week and ordering pins to rotate in delts. Not my fave but... I don't like a lumpy butt
