I'm using proscar for 5 years now against hair loss, I take 1,25mg everyday and absolutely no side effect a all.
Anyone see sides from proscar or any 5ar ?

I've heard a side effect of using proscar could be Permanent ED... can any one enlighten me ?

I've read alot of posts where dudes say proscar seriously fucked there libido up... then on others like yours say they get no sides at all.

Trust me my libido is not fucked up by Proscar. Not at all. I even made a blood test to be sure everything was normal, and everything's fine. I have a prescription for it and while I'm gonna be on cycle I will continue to use it.
Concerning libido side you're talking, it could be a possibility if you take the whole pill which is 5mg during a certain amount of Time. But as far as I concern, I take 1,25 mg everyday for 5 years and no sides at all. Try it and you'll se by yourself, and if you experiencing a side, well, just stop it.

I've been on finasteride 1mg for years and never noticed any sexual side effects. I've read some literature that says there have been some cases where sexual sides occur, and in a few instances these sides (impotence, loss of libido) were permanent.
