Gonna start up tonight and have been wanting to do delt since I can reach and aspirate no prob..
My workout partner keeps saying just stick with glute that it's a unfuckable shot and do delt another time.
Where is the first muscle you guys pinned up??

I would do quads ESP since I have very little bf on my legs but I've heard all kinds of stories about hitting nerves , seems like quads would hurt? Is delt bad for a 1ml first shot?

Only problem with delts is its hard to aspirate, when I hit delts I don't aspirate, personal preference. If you can aspirate you're straight. My fav spot is quads. If your muscles are all virgin muscle, then you might get some bad soreness, might. I pinned my left quad one time and for a week it felt like my quad was gonna tear. The pain will go away though...

First quad pin, I was sore like hell for a week using prop. Switched to glutes with much less PIP.

if the gear doesn't have a lot of pip, I prefer quads and sometimes delts. if I know there's gonna be pip, I do glutes.

Delt was my first. I prefer delts most of the time. Glutes is fine, you just have to make sure you hit it right. First time I pinned glutes my ass swelled up like there was a golf ball stuck in the side of it.![]()

I have to agree if there is going to be a lot of PIP then I would stick to the glutes, otherwise there is nothing wrong with the delts and the quads I dump about 3.5cc into each per wk the rotate to the glutes. I have too much volume to hit the delts.

Just did right quad first time then left shoulder then left quad. So far left quad has hurt the most. I'm fuckin limping after sitting for long lol good stuff!
I believe it was glutes for me over 9 years ago with my first inject . Just recently , it was glutes and no problem except for some blood . I was told by a vet there should be no blood , so maybe I hit a vein .

Pinned my delt last week and when I pulled the needle out, blood started pouring out... It caught me off guard and by the time I grabbed an alcohol pad my arm was covered in blood and as I tried wiping it I was just spreading the blood around making it look worse. Good times.

Don't listen to the horror stories bro, my first pin was quads and I've done em almost exclusively ever since. I've had a few twitchers and one spurter (sry, couldn't help myself :P ) but they're very rare. Sometimes you'll hit a little nerve but it's odd more than painful, change the angle just a few degrees and push on brother. It doesn't hurt really, just feels a bit odd... As for blood I've aspirated blood once a tiny bit, and had one that err sprayed a little bit upon pulling the pin, but 99.5% of the time there's no blood at all, and no pain. It's mosty mental, I honestly believe anyone who trains can easily deal with the little bit of pain, it's getting over the fear of sticking something in yourself that's difficult. I say stick to quads and glutes unless you're doing short esters, and honestly if quads are easier to reach for you you'd be fine just rotating them each once a week IMO.
I've even done .5 inch slin pins in quads and glutes, you should be more likely to hit blood vessels the closer you are to the surface but I still haven't aspirated blood even once with them and the hole is so small not even a drop forms when I pull it out. Pinning is farrr easier than it seems like it should be, you'd almost have to try to fuck it up![]()
