It's about time. Some pharms where I live have the legal right to sell pins without a script but still won't. They state safety reasons.
NONPRESCRIPTION SYRINGE SALES THROUGH LICENSED PHARMACIES, SENATE BILL 41
California Department of Public Health
On October 9, 2011, Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr., signed into law Senate Bill (SB) 41 (Yee, Chapter 738, Statutes of 2011) as part of statewide efforts to reduce the spread of HIV, hepatitis C, and other blood-borne pathogens. The new law expands legal access to hypodermic needles and syringes in order to reduce the sharing of contaminated injection equipment. SB 41 removes restrictions on pharmacy practices to allow nonprescription sale of syringes (NPSS) through licensed pharmacies throughout the state, without requiring they register with a program or local government to authorize NPSS. Beginning January 1, 2012, physicians and pharmacists may furnish or sell up to 30 syringes without a prescription to adults 18 years of age or older for disease prevention purposes. SB 41 also allows adults anywhere in the state to purchase and possess up to 30 syringes for personal use when acquired from an authorized source. California code now specifies that pharmacists, physicians, and syringe exchange programs (SEPs) are all authorized sources of nonprescription syringes for disease prevention purposes.

I can think of a few other states that need to do this....

Its a medical supply store. Is that not english? Looks like george has been hit in the head one to many times. I'm just telling you what I paid lasat time I was there. Ill check if I have the bill still and if I do ill post a picture. That might help you a bit

yeah it is a great ideal , but it aint gonna happen in the mid- west. seems like California is clearly ahead of all other states when comes to thinking out side the box. they have made many new changes to the laws there. good for them , sucks for us in other states ..lol i guess someone has to be first maybe other state will follow there lead. They just pass something on the gay marriage ban, saying that its unconstitutional. I am not gay but but i firmly believe in freedom of choice! i am guessing they took a vote on these bills and the people of the state passed them. not thats power to the people!

no shit i just find out about ''legalization'' of pins scary way my ex call cops on me.i was i right ha ha ,so that bitch show them my stash of syringes and needles.cop just give her look and said that that shit doesn't work like that no more its fine to have needles now.next day i was shopping in fuckin Walgreen's for box of 23G

K I'm not flaming your country but seriously how fucking stupid can they be? Why not realize people will find pins regardless so hey just make it safe. Have drop off centers and clean pins for sale.

I'm glad that here in my state I can just walk into the pharmacy and get what I want.
Most of the time they have whatever I want and if not they order it and I come back the next day for the items.
They dont ask any questions.
I buy a box of syringes and a variety of pins or 100 slin pins with zero issues.

i can at some....some start telling me they need to see my script............i reminded some chinese chick she wasnt even supposed to ask me what i needed them for and how they were legal..........she called security on me at walgreens..........this was the walgreens on florida and federal

same in n,y except they will only ring up 10 pins in one purchase i just walk out put my shit in the car and go back 20 pins lasts me a couple of weeks

I thought there was a page on here with the states that allowed nonprescription syringe purchases? Maybe it was a different forum. Not to be a smart ass but why not just buy off ebay? 8.00 for 100 count lure locks with needles. Its vet grade apparently but you're more than likely injecting UGL juice so what makes prescription needles better for injecting? Out of 2 boxes I've used I've had one syringe with a warped barrel.
Guess I never felt much of a difference. On a side note I live in Idaho and I can walk in and pick up needles without a script and they are around .80 cents. When I walk in with my script for them tho it comes out to about 1.15 each. I don't have insurance so that's not what the difference is, anyone else notice this?
