Depends bro... do you put on fat easily? 500 above sounds good. See how first couple weeks go then adjust. Near end of cycle you should be up at least 10lbs so you will have to configure your new maintenance/bulking calories.

I just began a Test-E cycle and was curious where everyone else had their surplus'. I've ready many posts across a few forums how people 'just eat as much as they can', but I have always been a lean bulker myself and always count my macros. Does the standard 500 cals above maintenance still apply while under Test-E? Or should I up my cals to the 600-750 range to compliment the rapidly growing mass while maintaining my low 6-7% body fat.
Thanks guys.

As long as your eating clean I say go for it. My normal on a bulk is around 700+. My metabolism is pretty high tho so it's not hard for me to maintain decently low body fat.
Keep in mind the more weight u put on the more calories u need to maintain so up cals accordingly

I will re-evaluate my diet weekly. This is no issue for me. Thanks guys
At least 25-30% surplus if you really want to gain. Besides, AAS shifts your metabolism towards putting on muscle instead of fat.
