Ethyl oleate is an oil correct? Is it suppose to be better than cotton seed or sesame oil?

Is it ok to use by itself? I ask this because Im making my own home brew. A liter of eo was cheaper than a liter of cotton seed oil. So I bought the oe. Was making sure I don't need to mix w another oil. Thanks for the help

95% sure you can use straight EO, not sure where you found it cheaper than oil though lol. I believe its more of a solvent than an oil per se, but it does still work I BELIEVE lol, never done it myself. Grapeseed is my oil of choice though and can be found cheap, you don't need to buy it filtered as you will be filtering it yourself

Ok so found out why eo was cheaper...I was looking at price for filtered cs and gso. Eo is cheaper than the filtered. But non filtered is 1/2 the price...oops I thought filtered would have been better but guess if Im goin to filter there is no need to buy pre filtered....live and learn I guess

Yep lol I made that mistake first time too, as long as you're filtering it you can use regular GSO, cottonseed I believe is not regulated as a food crop so can contain some pesticides from what rumors I've heard, Pharma uses cottonseed though and I doubt they'd overlook that lol
