Quick Question: Can you preload pins...?

Can you preload pins night before if pinning the next day or morning with them? I was thinking of preloading my test tonight so my honey can stick me in the morning before she goes to work in the am.

If so where do you store pin after preloading? Fine to leave at room temp or have to be stored in fridge?

Yes you can preload pins, its fine to do it a few days in advance even, I believe this can be an issue if the gear contains EO (yours doesn't) as it degrades the rubber in the syringe. Doing it the night before is fine though, just be careful when you cap it and leave it somewhere it won't be disturbed until you need it, I've put a few inside dvd cases before but they were insulin pins. I'm not sure regular ones will fit or not

yeah preloading is ok, but with a 22 or 23g drawing is pretty fast anyway. but yeah you dont have to worry about anything as far as getting inf as long as its in its shell and in a plastic bag it will be fine, always use alcohol swab brother!

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Great to know as mornings are pretty busy here and if preload night before then all that means is slightly warmin syringe with hands, swiping pin area w/ alcohol swab and pinning. Saves a few extra min without feeling "rushed."

Okay pin is locked and loaded in ziplock baggy with swap pad and other pinning needle (25g). Tomorrow other butt cheek gonna be sore (or day after lol).

That's cool but I am sure it is cheaper to buy reg vials and pins but good to know.

I preload for the week, an old animal pak can works great to store preloads.

Nice.. I could probably preload two in advance. That's a good idea when travelling through too.

I work from home so not a big deal but if I want wifey's help with shots I would prefer like this morning...

Sunday nites I load my pins for the week, right now I am cruisin so its only 2 pins. Only pin I dont preload is suspension

Noob question... Is there a reason you don't with sus? Not good to pre-load?

Suspension is water based so the hormone settles on botton of vial. I shake the vial before loading then keep shaking pin til I inject.

Makes perfect sense. Never used Sus yet so did not know that. Great to know.
