Thread: Horrible pain...

Sounds like too much solvents... Homebrewing always opens yourself up to sterility issues, even with experienced cooks.

Maybe you did something wrong? Maybe it wasn't sterile? Maybe you have more test in there than you did when you made them individually? Who knows with the info you gave?

All glasswear in oven for 25mins on 250 degrees
Made 50ml used 10g of e powder. 5g of prop powder. 1cc ba and 9cc bb filled rest w oe that was in oven for 15 mins and got oil to 215 degrees to be sure it was sterile. Filtered through brand new steri cup...I was thinking maybe too high concentration for the prop being the ba and bb was shared in the solution with the enanthate? Maybe....?

Bump any ideas?

Yeah. 25min at 250 F isn't going to do shit. You need like 2+hrs at 350. Do a little microbio themed search. If you don't believe me I will post up pics from a textbook.

Make sure you didn't put in 9cc BA and 1cc BB...

Other than that, my only thoughts are that your buddy is a true friend - aint no way I'd have shot that sh*t after hearing what you went through.

fwiw I tried that exact blend brewed by someone else, I still have it here because its painful and I haven't really used it. I don't know anything about how it was made though/sterility etc.


also the baking you're doing is nowhere near enough for sterility. For dry heat sterilizing glassware you need more like 450 for 1+ hrs. Your gear is sterilized by the filter not heat, as long as everything AFTER filtration is sterile you're ok.

Not only did I dry bake the glass wear I soaked them in alcohol for a bit too

For glassware, I'd rinse in clorox after use to get the oil out and run it through the dish washer on high heat. Then store. When it's time to use, soak in alcohol and then transfer directly to the oven. Like I said, 350+ for 2hrs or so.

I doubt that's your problem though. Maybe it's just stout. I mean your packing in extra test mg for mg vs your other brews. Best bet would be to brew some prop at 150 and then brew some test e at 250-300. Then mix and match as you see fit. Then you have the option of using them seperate.

Yea I do have them separate too. Those are absolutely painless. A guy requested the blend. So I made it for him. 3 of us shot the same day. And all with same pain lol. I'm thinking its prob the prop being so concentrated with less solvents than as it would be by itself.

It's holding??? I mean I'm presuming it holding but are you getting any"glass shards"

I was actually thinking about cutting it down some. And adding a lil bit more bb to it to tame it a bit.

I always have PIP from prop. Never had a vial of legit prop that didn't give PIP. Maybe it's just me. Never tried that particular blend, though.
Listen to longworthb, cut it with GSO, make sure to filter the GSO first.

My prop is legit and pain free.

try to just add some sterile oil to your next shot and see how it goes. i know some people who suggest it and see if that helps. cut it a little more like 1cc of your blend and + 1/2ml more cc of sterile
or like long said cut with gso keep us updated.

20% BB will make prop pretty much painless at 100mg/ml, I'm not real sensitive to it but it doesn't feel like much of anything to me

Also I think thats just a painful blend bro, some people don't tolerate 100mg prop real well so an added 200 enan is maybe just too much. I would think with EO it would be ok but maybe not ?

Yea its some harsh Shit lol. I don't think the sterile part is the issue.

Also I'm not really sure if adding solvent will help. I was under the idea that the solvent was only for keeping everything in a solution and that you wanted to use as least as possible.

this ^^^ it kinda takes away from having a blend and only having to draw from one vial. but if it works out and you know your gear is sterile at least you can still use it

I used to get 100mg/ml prop from pharmacy (American made Schein brand) and it had some PIP... never used any prop that didn't...

Hey bro, lets take out all of the sterility questions since that has been addressed. I believe it is a concentration issue. A blend with 300mgs per ml with 100 of that being prop will cause some major PIP and you have topped it with 200 more mg's of Enth all in 1cc. That is steep and I assume is the issue; I would suggest a overall 30% concentration reduction. The end user obviously likes the ratio so he will just have bigger cc injects but much less PIP.

I am a major prop/Enth fan for my bulking cycle and typically do daily injections only because its easier for me to then plan out the week with 3 or 4 different chems going all at once. It also avoids 1 or 2 days a week with 5cc injects.

But problem is it hurts like a mother f er!!!! I injected 1cc in my quad on wed. Here it is Mon morn and there is still pain. Pain was so bad from thurs morn till sat. I could. Barely walk. Felt like I got mule kicked.

No redness at all. It got a little swollen but not too bad. Muscle was kinda hard. Not sure what went wrong. My buddy did some in his shoulder and same thing. Is the prop at too high of concentration in the blend?

no pain no gain

This is WAY beyond the normal pain. This blend made my leg feel like the hulk smashed my quad with a sledge hammer. But other my other brews are perfect.

I agree with big60235. 300mg per cc is really high and the bb it takes the to keep it in solution can cause a lot of pain. prop at 100mg / cc is already painful.
