Thread: Injection site opinion needed.

if its red and warm there could be something going on..anytime this happens pop 600-800mg of ibuprofen..that will fix most issues...

Most likely it's just a bad injection, not deep enough, hit a vein, etc., that will clear itself up in the next couple of days.
Pop some ibuprofen like the guy above me said, and apply some heat to it, to help disperse any oil that may be trapped.
Happened to me once before. I'm sure you'll be fine.


Also, make sure you are deep enough in the muscle and always use sterile techniques, which most do.

ive noticed when i pin delts it hurts the worst for me. i always have pain, its warm and it swells. try a heating pad and rub the spot that hurts.

slin pins still hurt. not the needle but afterwards

Delts are one of my favorite pin sites, 25g 1" pin for me. Only time I get pain is suspension and learned to take a hot shower after pinning and cutting suspension with bac water.
Anyways what kind of test e are you running?

dont tell me you are only pinning delts 2X a week?

you need to rotate injection spots to above sterile abscess and excessive scar tissue build up.
* I rec glute shots (stand in fron of a big merrror so its easy to do and make sure you hit the outer upper quadrent of the glute.
* Quad shots are also an option, I used to hate them and swore them off for years untill a few weeks ago, not so bad this time around. maybe my pain tolerance is sky high now i unno lol.

I have had a bad delt shot swell up and throb for a few days not to long ago. it hurt allot but slowly went away.
I didnt have any redness though. keep an eye on it over the next couple days, if it gets worse go to ER ASAP, you don't want to go into shock or something.
is it itchy and painful?

Thanks for all the input. I. rotate between delts, quads and glutes. This was just a bad shot. Everything has cleared up and back to normal.

ive had my delts flare up what a bitch it is...
just take 800mg ibuprofen 2x a day with a small meal.. and if you have any anti-biotics take one a day till its gone.
i always have those 2 things on hand.. ive had my left delt flare up for 3-5 days like that redness and a little warm.. and my right before..
dont freak just keep heat on it and drink as much water as you can to flush your system.. always works for me.

I hate doing delts. They always hurt for a few days and knot up.
