Injected into vain

I am just posting this thread for when people need to do a PROPER search they can find my detail explanation of my experience.

First I all ways aspirate period. All ways use new draw, inject, and syringes. I clean every vial and my self before using with a alcohol swap. I prefer the pre-packaged ones not cotton balls.

Weapons of choice: 18g for draw, 25g 1inch for pin in quad. Injecting 2ml Test C and 1ml of Deca

First prep, I injected and aspirated and every thing was great, gear flowed smooth as normal and no issues. Half way though I began to want to cough, got a taste in my mouth, and a feeling of warmth through out my body. All most felt a little nauseous as well. So I stopped and aspirated again and saw a speck of blood. So I pulled half way out and went back in and aspirated again and nothing. I should have probably stopped there repinned and finished but I just finished the rest.

After finishing, very little blood came out of the injection site, but I got a weird feeling in my head and a little dizzy. I started to cough allot for a few minutes and then it was over. The walk to my car was a little unsettling, all most felt like I wanted to pass out. By the time I got home, I felt fine, but all most had an asthmatic feeling when I breathed. Every breath felt short and had a slight pain in my chest nothing bad but not normal. I ended up going to see the hobbit that night, and had dinner. I felt find at this point, just issues with my breathing. However, half way through the movie I started feeling hot and flu like symptoms. Every muscle was sore and I knew what was going on.

That night I drank about a gallon of water, i felt dehydrated and then I past out. I woke up in cold sweats through out the night. Once I woke up I felt great though. No flue no fever nothing. Hit the gym and felt normal. The breathing thing lasted for about 3 days. Where I just felt pressure on my lungs but only on deep breaths. This happened Friday and all and all I am alive no need to see a doctor and no need to post on a forum if I will live or die.

So If you searched and found this thread and have similar affects, it will pass. Remember there has been no deaths due to steroids and your not the first one for this to happen to. If it was that serious it would be more of an epidemic. So tough it out and if it last more then 2 days then I would go see a Dr. just because it may have lowered your immune system which made you more acceptable to illnesses, while you were going through "test flu"

I never aspirate but if I hit a vein I do know can't stop coughing like I have the flu then it goes way only happen twice

first time i know of it happening but im sure it has happened more when i first started. I use to never aspirate.

Just difficult to aspirated sometime with one hand.

yeah, i am starting tren up in the shoulders and thats a pain in the ass for me because my chest is fucking big and my arms are short.

U can aspirate and still have the needle move into a vein.

All of your veins go right to your inferior and superior vena cava (biggest veins) and then the blood goes through the right side of your heart where its pumped to your lungs to be oxygenated. The oil is gunna aggravate the alveoli in your lungs.

Now a clot going to your lungs is a pulmonary embolism but u can still be ok after that. If u feel it in your lungs its the gear. You'll live.

I remember looking and the amount of oil injected into a vein required to kill a dog is pretty substantial, it may be less with solvents etc. added but still probably more than one would ever inject. Like goodskie mentioned it will probably irritate your lungs and may cause some fluid to build up but it shouldn't be fatal. Even aspirating won't always protect you, unless you're in a major blood vessel the pin will move more than the width of a vein during injection usually. Its a pretty rare occurence if you use the right areas but if it does happen for the most part you should be ok.

Here is the study - Acute pulmonary oil embolism and lethal dose study of an oily contrast medium following portal vein administration into dogs - Lee - 2006 - Journal of Surgical Oncology - Wiley Online Library
In the search for a simple, objective, reliable and sequential diagnostic hepatography, an oily contrast medium, Ethiodol {ethiodized oil), was purposely injected into the portal vein system of dogs. In the absence of a porto-systemic shunt, the smallest amount of Ethiodol which produced faint roentgenographic visualization of pulmonary oil embolization was about 2.50 ml/kg. The average ?trapping capacity? of the livers of six dogs was 2.89 ml/kg. The average acute lethal dose was 5.10 ml/kg. It was not possible to extrapolate the lethal dose of intraportal Ethiodol in humans. Also, the consideration of a threshold dose level (corresponding to the trapping capacity of the liver), near or above which the problem of pulmonary oil embolism will become significant, is only a rough concept. However, the results of this study serve to emphasize that the potential hazards of using intraportal oil contrast media for clinical purposes should be kept in mind.

The lethal dose of 5.10ml per kg bodyweight would be like 500ml's for some. Ethiodol is poppyseed oil btw used as a contrast medium apparently

good information here. I knew I would be fine, but I knew I would be uncomfortable for a day. This is all good information for beginner AAS users that seem to all ways post if their going to die.

pin your quads with tren..you wont have any issues...

I think most of us long time users have had it happen a time or few. I thought i was going to die coughing my first time many years ago. I kept asking myself...can a person cough to death? Good post for the first timers to search for. The problem is with first timers they will post "injected into vein, am I gonna die?", then we will tell them to do a search, then they will get butt hurt("why don't you just answer the question"), then we will ask for stats, and then they will either do the search or we will help them. Such a recurring cycle but, we were all newbies at one time. Sorry for the rant. Good post either way.
