Struck a Nerve!

Started my first Cycle in over 20 years a week ago so I consider myself a born again newbie. Doing Test E 300 ml twice a week.
So 1st shot went smooth except for a flash sweat as soon as I pinned my quad. Purely physiological. Stopped sweating as soon as I with drew the needle. Even with that I couldn't wait for my next shot.
2nd shot went perfect no issues. Once again pumped for my next shot but did wonder if after a few weeks I would be anticipating pin day so much.
3rd shot today twitched going in wasn't sure if it was a nerve, but found out real quick, a small short stream of blood came out.
What a mind fuck that was!!!
Took a good 20 - 30 minutes to work up the courage to re-pin (fresh syringe).
I will admit I am a bit mind fucked still but was able to re - pin.
Just sharing so other newbies will know that others can relate and it isn't all that glorious sometimes. Just have to keep the "end game" in mind.

it sucks hitting a nerve, but if there is blood i would say you hit/nicked a blood vessel

That was a blood vessel and not a nerve. Do you aspirate once you have stick in the pin and before you push in the oil?

It happens to me at least once a week.

dam man i remember my first pin and i got the sweat/hot flashes it brought back old memories.. haha
sorry about you hitting a nerv that shit sucks i pinned my quad and hit a nerve on my third shot. i was gun shy for that week.. my wife does most of my shots now.. but i do my glute and quads myself

when you hit a nerve you feel a stupid sharp pain. and usually its just under the skin

Thats why i pin slow. I pin quads allot and I all ways hit a nerve and my quad jumps in the air. So i started to pin slow. I use to have to get pumped up breathing hard and put some metal on to jab it in fast. Now i Just pit the pin on my skin apply slight pressure enough to break the skin. no pain. Then once you hit muscle you dont even feel a thing period. You will start to feel it close when your next to a nerve. So I will just pull back a bit and then go back in and it will miss it. Aperate and your ready to go.

Yes, I do asperate, however this happened as I was slowly inserting the needle. I think I may have popped a blood vessel. I now have a faint blue bruising just under the skin about the size of a dime.
