Thread: Lump - abscess ?

Test e never done that to me, only suspension but it was just hot and uncomfortable. Are you injecting deep enough? Is everything sterile? Is your gear good quality? Maybe allergic to the carrier oil

i got a lump from injecting the swill that OP here sells, it's still there..

Is this your first cycle?

If its not hot or red I would get a hot compress and put it on it as often as I could. If it gets hot or red then you could have an infection. I would not worry too much about it unless starts showing signs of infection.


Also pictures would help. You gave a pretty broad description cause honestly its sounds more like a cyst than an infection from injecting.

I have one on my glute, Not sure if its scare tissue or what, there is no color or pain just can feel a small ball in the area i injected in the past and that was a year ago. I use to draw with the same stick I poked with so i think it was from a dull stick. If there is no color or pain i would nto worry about it. If there is color to it draw a circle around and see if it gets larger.

Sounds like a mood freaking himself over a little pip. Just my opinion.

Just cause its not hot or red does not mean it cant be problematic....get a warm compress or heat pad and treat it 3-4 times ed...do not rub it or attempt to.work.it out...if it doesnt change in a week get it looked at....a sterile abscess can be as big if not a bigger issue then a septic abscess...

what brand did you inject?

hmm i have had swelling before, but never just a hard lump..i would say massage it a lot and give it about a week or so and see if it goes down

I am going to clarify my original post by answering some of the questions.

-The gear is legit and sterile. I've used same batch in my last cycle, and I am 3 weeks into my current cycle.
-There was not any contamination on the skin or needle. I often find myself using 4 or 5 alcohol pads to make sure the rubber stopper and skin (pre and post inj.) is clean and sterile.
-I am not exactly a noob, this is my 6th cycle. However I do get freaked out by lumps. I have had a sterile abscess on my glute about a year ago. It was rather painful and expensive to get rid off (had to see a private doctor and get it done off the records).

Here goes more accurate description of the lump.
It is in the middle of my right deltoid. About 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. My right shoulder looks slightly bigger than the left one, even with a T-shirt on. The difference is more obvious when I flex my deltoids.
It is located right under the skin. Its does not ache unless I press on it very hard. I don't feel any discomfort in my shoulder muscle. It does not ache and I have full range of motion.


As for what have caused it, I believe I did not go deep enough into the muscle. I've used 1.5" needle, it went only 1" in.

Any thoughts, or similar experiences?

Ive used 1" pins on quads before and never had an issue I can't imagine you would need to get deeper into a delt than that. I would take S2h's advice.

I have had hard lumps like that with sterile gear, test-e not from a supplier here. I came to the conclusion it was a bad brew. I had a hard lump on my shoulder that looked like half a golf ball sticking out.... and it took four weeks to disappear. For me OP test gives me pip for about 3 days, but no lumps.. mlg is very smooth, no pip at all.

No one here is a dr. Either you are freaking out over a little hurt or you need medical attention. Blindly asking for medical advice on a board full of meat heads is stupid. Go to the dr. Or quit bitching

For all.you.that think.its just a little lump and part of the game...etc etc...thats what i got once when i let a sterile abscess slide for 3-4 weeks....how bout dat??

Im not a.doctor...but i can.tell you one.thing.for sure...dont EVER fucking massage it...unless you want that hole in your legg..

Ive used 1" and 5/8 on my delts I dont think going deep enough is the problem. I would take D-Lats advice

i get this once and a while . Almost like I didn't go deep enough. Mine always happens in the glute and subsides in a few days. Massaging it helps too
