newbie cycle

What would you suggest.

Me -
175 lbs
5'10"
Wants Huge lean / mass

Diet -
Morning - cereal 1% milk
Protein shake

Lunch -
Chicken breast or Turkey or Tuna
Protein shake

Dinner -
Usually anything with Meat, Potatoes, more meat, chicken, turkey.
Protien shake before bed.

Thats my diet right now.
I'm sure I need to eat more, but then again I just want Lean mass.

So question is.
What cycle should I be looking for?
How long of a cycle and dosages.

Thanks

Eat about 3 times that much and clean up the diet. Split your meals into 5-8 meals a day.

Okay good stuff.
Here is my only concern.

I eat no junk at all.
I'm trying to get the remaining parts of fat (belly , college drinking) off myself.

Will eating this much food add tothat ?

I do cardio 2 - 3 times a week.
My work outs are intense. At least for me they are.

I consider cereal nothing but junk, but that is just because it makes me fat. I can't cut on milk either, milk + cereal forget it, its nothing but weight gainer for me.

If your 175 pounds you should be getting at least 175g protein per day, every 3 hours for positive nitrogen retention. If your muscles release the aminos that go into them because your protein uptake is not frequent enough, you will not grow very much.

Don't forget to add EFA'S into your diet!

EFA's?

Also mudge.
I'm trying to gain bulk but at the same time, im trying to lose some fat (belly)..

Here is my problem.
I do alot of cardio to get rid of this extra fat.
That in general will cut back on my bulk correct?

Is there something I can try.
If you could can you write me a routine (weights) / diet?

I'm still new at this and trying to do the best I can.
You are right on cereal, but I work out at 6 am so chicken that early for me isn't ideal.

Basically here is where I'm at.
I'm at a small tom cruise (but taller)
and I want to be at Frank Shamrock size, little bigger.

I'm forgetting what else I wanted to ask.
Maybe it will come back later.

thanks for your guys.

The only way for me to lose fat is to really clean up the diet, cardio whittles me down too much if I go beyond 30m 3x a week, mild heart rate, 60-70%.

Cardio burns calories and can help speed the metabolism but I would not say you are really fat burning at all, unless doing it on an empty stomach (early AM).

Hang out in the diet forum.

hey
try eating every couple of hours and in terms of that 1g of protein/lb. of body weight is completely foolish. that's liver damage waiting to happen. it clear that all this info about taking in so much protein comes from these magazines that have these giants on the cover. one problem though...they're all on roids.

protein molecules are extremely long and it takes a while for your body to process. only a small percentage gets absorbed, so that means your hard earned money on protein shakes go down the drain. why do you think that atkins protein diet works? all the fat in the meat just gets passed through the system because the body can't process it

eat good quality meat and eat egg whites, and drink milk. try to get in all the various proteins into your body. eat often trying to get in a good amount of quality protein but not overdoing it.
key to gaining weight but not fat is watching your carb intake. eat long chained carbs like starchy vegetables(potatoes) or bananas instead of stuff loaded with sugar or pastas

sorry for rambling but i hope this helps you
