    Couple injections Q's

-How far to pull back on the plunger when aspirating? (1/16")?
-Would a 5/8" pin be good for a person with low body fat for delts and glutes?
-Do always push the neddle ALL of the way in?
-If you aspirate and get blood do you then push the blood out so when you pick your next spot to try again there's not blood already in there making it difficult to tell if you hit a vein or if it was from before?
-After you inject what do you do with the syringe, should you somehow clean it (the inside I mean) or just store it until next time (with or without the needle attached)?
-I saw on the link above in the stickies a place that sells 100 syringes with needles attached for 29.00 then you could just use it and ditch it, cool, but then if it's a one piece unit (I don't know if it is or isn't) you couldn't switch neddles after you draw, How much does it dull the needle going through the stopper?

    - When aspirating, I only pull back enough to see a few air bubbles draw into the syringe. As long as I see a few air bubbles and no blood, I figure I'm set.

    - Not sure about glutes, but 5/8" should be fine for delts.

    - I never push the needle all the way in. Doing that would be very bad. If the needle were to break off inside you, you'd have a hard time retrieving it. I always leave some showing just in case.

    - Not sure about your next one, but I know if I aspirated and drew blood, I'd remove the needle completely, pop on a new one, and try again in a different spot.

    - I just throw my syringe out. They're cheap and easy to replace. Better safe than sorry.

    - As far as the place your talking about that sells the syringes with needles attached; yes, you can remove the needles. They are not one piece units. Since the needle is dulled greatly going through the stopper, it's wise to always pop on a new needle for the actual shot.

    Hope that helped somewhat!
