LOL... dude... hahaha thats funny. If i recall correctly someone on this board: their doctor busted them for doing roids and told him he'd get all their gear for them cuz he didn't want the guy using dirty underground shit.

The hard part is making sure they don't screw you on the price.

Your doc is not going to give it to you that easily, they are going to require many hormone tests, not just a T test. You will spend several hundred dollars getting LH, FSH and may others tested. Then they will want you to get an MRI done to check your pituitary gland, that test will run you another $500+.

You will be looking at a couple of thousand dollars total for all of the testing and proably 2-3 months before they would give you HRT. Then they will want you coming in monthly for at least the first 6 months getting a blood test each month. (a basic T test is about $100)

Plus, Androgel (the most popular form of HRT) will run you almost $200 per month, and all it will do is get your T levels in the normal range which is about 500ng/dl range. (far from being anabolic)

You would be much better off using all of that cash to buy anabolic steroids. Or stock up on M1T, Methy-D, 1-test, etc.

btw, the reason I know all of this is I know a couple of people that are on HRT.

Even if you got HRT it would be very rare that they sent you home with Upjohn Cypionate, and even then it would be "non anabolic" amounts.

If I had to do HRT I probably would want the androgel too, who wants to be sticking themselves for the rest of their life, not me honestly.

I'm currently on Lupron and Cenestin (add-back).....mean while, we're debating, Danazol. Can anyone tell me about Danazol, other than it's a synthetic steroid derived from ethisterone? Anyone ever use it?

I only asked because I saw a website online where if you have a doctors approval they prescribe cypionate and other forms of test. I was thinking I could stock up on what they give me for a few months and that would be enough to do a decent cycle. Just an idea. The website I was looking at was domestic, but they were charging an arm and a leg for the stuff. I have good medical insurance so I am sure all the tests they need to do would be covered, and probably most of the gear too. But hey it was just an idea.

I doubt that your insurance would pay for it.

It has to be domestic, otherwise they can't prescribe you anything.

Hey it wouldn't hurt to find out if I can get my insurance to repay me for it. It would be considered for medical use so why not...lol...wouldn't that be great! Have my insurance pay for my gear. I am probably living in a dream land

That might actually work. If they test for FSH and LH also however, it may throw up a flag since that will show your body is hardly producing testosterone at all.

I have been on HRT for 4 years with two different doctors. The first tested my testosterone levels at 300ng/dl and prescribed me Androderm. This was the only test he used. They will want to test you again after a few months, possibly adjust the dose, then see you again in another few months. So if you truly are not hypogonal, then it would be difficult to fool the doc. When he tested me a few months later my test was at 565ng/dl.

They only give you enough to get your levels back to midrange (500-600ng/dl). I ceased using it for a year or so, and also moved to another state. When it became obvious I needed more testosterone (lack of libido, tired, moody) I went to another doc who once again tested my testosterone levels. This time it was at 265ng/dl. Again, this was the only test they used. He prescribed Androgel, and again tested me a few months later. If you are young (I'm old ), they may run more tests to see why your hypogonal. Going this route would be a lot of trouble, and you wouldn't get anywhere near the amount to be anabolic.

Online HRT clinics are popping up all over the place. Some are borderline steroid dealers in the doses they are prescribing. A couple I've heard of are prescribing 200mg per week test cyp, along with some deca. This is clearly approaching steroid levels, but still not enough to be real effective. These clinics charge a ridiculous amount for their 'services'.

It has weak androgenic and anabolic properties. I've used it for treating hereditary angioedema and for gynecomastia in some men with other endocrinological disorders. Regarding the endometriosis, in about 37–87% of patients with endometriosis who received danazol, significant pain relief was obtained. Best results have occurred in patients with mild to moderate endometriosis. Resolution of endometrial lesions, as indicated by laparoscopy or laparotomy, has been reported to occur in 36–72% of patients receiving danazol. In most patients, endometriosis recurred within 8–12 months following discontinuance of the drug. Reports indicate that about 30–50% of previously infertile women with endometriosis are able to conceive within 6–8 months after danazol therapy, but this percentage is no greater than that expected following treatment with other hormones or surgery.

Bandaidwoman - Thank you for responding hon. Danazol isn't for me then because I have severe Stage 4. What do you suppose my dr will do after the hysterectomy? Do you think that's when he planned on giving me the Danazol and do you think it will give me slight masculine characteristics? I believe he said I'll receive 800mg spread over the course of 6 months.

The women taking it for hereditary angiodema had some slight hair problems, but nothing bad. Looks like he is using it to smash away any microscopic ectopic islands after the surgery. But also remember that in addition, danazol has been shown to substantially decrease IgG, IgM, and IgA concentrations as well as phospholipid and IgG isotope autoantibodies in patients with endometriosis and associated elevations of autoantibodies, suggesting that this could be another mechanism by which the drug facilitates regression of this disorder.
