    Got away..

I got pulled over by a cop the other night, not for speeding but because I had a headlight out. Thinking it was no big deal, He asked me for my license, when I gave it to him, thats when all the questions came out, 'so, have you been drinking tonight?' 'where are you going?', 'where are you coming from?', 'where do you live?' 'why are you out so late?' (it was 2am) He started to shine his flashlight around in my car, and in my eyes. I know it all seems like standard procedure but damn, for a blown headlight? He came back with a repair order, and tells me to have a good night, right when I thought it was over he says 'oh and one more thing, do you have any drugs in the car?' And thats when it hit me, I had dbol in a prescription bottle w/ the sticker ripped off and a used syringe that I had just taken at my girls house. I never carry my gear with me its always at my girls house, but that night I was going to spend the weekend with my mom so I took it with me. My heart sank, as I replied 'No' He asked if he could search my car. I stood by the patrol car and watched as he pulled out the needle and pills and asked if I knew what this was used for, I told him it was for my insulin shots, and that the pills were prescribed for anxiety. He threw everything back in the car and told me to drive safe, holy shit, i was free? Im lucky that I had the stupidest cop in the world pull me over.

wow that was a close one. I would have been shitting my pants for sure. Fuckin cops think they can just do anything they want. He pulls you over for a headlight and that is a reason to search your car? That IMO is taking advantage of his "authority" I would try and report him to somewhere cause I think that is is illegal to search a car for no reason. Its its not illegal is should be.

man, you really lead to learn your rights in situations like that my man!! trust me dude, the police will mnipulate you into incriminating yourself and giving them the info that they want in most situations. They take advantage of the fact that you don't know (as is the same with most people) in detail your rights according to the law, what you have to do to comply, what you have the right not to say and all that shit, ya feel me. He doesn't have any right to search your car without probable cause like that, and you gave him the verbal authority to search it anyways. There was no reason for him to suspect you had drugs in the car in the first place according to your rendition of the story and people sometimes think that they will get in "less trouble" if you follow their instructions. I would have said nothing more besides this... I don't want to say anything, I want my lawyer! thats it. anyways, I strongly reccommend to you any every other person that uses anabolics Rick Collins book "Anabolics in America". If you have never heard of it, he is one of the most prominent lawyers when it comes to steroids and the law. The book is so informative, there is shit in their that everyone needs to know, for real!! anyways man, thats great that you didn''t get in any real trouble.

Well, if you tell the cop "no", he will get a warrant anyway. But it might give you enough time to get rid of the stuff.

Same thing happened to me once. I let her search since I knew I didn't have anything. It worked out as she let me go. I imagine if I hadn't cooperated, she would have searched anyway, AND given me a ticket. But that is the gamble you take.

insulin shots, and anxiety pills with no prescription label on the bottle? He may have just cut you a break and let you go. Although you think its his stupidity. Either way you got extremely lucky.

anytime u get pulled over with shit you can hide... Put it in your Shoe... He cannot MAKE you take your shoe off its considered a strip search(unless you go to jail and then your feet are fair game).

If you Let a cop search your car willingly they will USually cut u a break no matter what. Thats from expierence.

no matter what, you have to know your rights so you aren't taken advantage of. You didn't have to give him permission to search your car, let him go get a warrant and let your lawyer bust his chops about why he felt there was the suspicsion to search the car. It was an unwarranted search. "Oh by the way get you headlight fixed, and let me search you for drugs!" that is such a violation of your rights man, fucc that. You need to pull a chappelle show and say " I pleaed the fif!! ha ha. anything he says..FIF!! fo real.

here, do yourself a favor and buy this book Bigswollz so next time you can be prepared:
