Accutane, is Deca a must?

I finally got the Accutane hook up, perscribed 120mg ed (1 + 2 40mg's)
My question is, since I'm not ready to cycle yet, how will my joints hold up?
Do you think Deca is needed in order to workout hardcore without joint injury (Deca lubes the joints to counteract Accutane's drying of the joints).
I usually pyramid up to extremely low reps (1-4) and take most sets other than warm ups to failure or maybe 1 rep away from failure.
Usuallly if I don't cut back every 6 wks or so I get tendonitis in my elbow and or some type of shoulder pain.
Thanx for any advise.

accutane as in the acne medication?

during my experience with accutane I worked out the bare minimum. Benching caused some serious spinal/back pain, I would not recommend it if it is at all possible- especiallyh if you feel pain.

after what I've experienced with accutane, not to imply that I am against it or anything, but I think it'll be one of those products they will stop distributing before long

but I'm no expert by any means of the word. Maybe some osteo-biflex will help?

Damn, 100mg ED about killed me after a single week. I came across someone doing 160mg ED though. My biggest problem became elbows, I started glucosamine chondroitin and deca and had to take a break from the gym. Someone else (DangerousGrounds) took off 6 months from the gym he was so bad off. I could hardly drive home I got so bad off, I had no choice but to stop training, I took off 4 days.

I was told I had to quit my soccer team while I was using accutane.

Damn I really can't imagine taking 20 wks off and losing what I worked (and ate) so hard to get.
I wonder if taking 2/3's the dose 80mg instead of 120 would result in 1/3 less pain in my joints???
I was considering this anyway as a way to stockpile some of the stuff so I could run it low dose while on my next cycle to help with the Test induced acne.

Even on 60mg I started clearing up really fast, I am on 20mg ED right now.

Once you get on cycle that stuff will creep back quickly pretty likely, best to clear up asap.

Are you two taking accutane for body acne or facial acne? I thought that stuff was for teens with bad acne problems.

On my first cycle I never broke out. I know my stuff was legit because I made amazing gains, but the most I ever got was one tiny pimple on my chest.

However, right now, on my second cycle, you can play connect the dots on my chest and shoulders. I've been getting acne like crazy and can't seem to ditch it. Tanning has helped some, but it's not curing all of it.

Oddly, I don't break out on my face at all. Rarely I'll get a tiny pimple, but they're few and far between.

So, looks like it's time for me to try some Accutane. Is the stuff prescription only? I can't seem to find any online.

Evil - It doesn't seem like you need Accutane, it is Rx, very hard to get a doc to perscribe it, you have to fight the insurance Co. to pay for it, 1 month supply from CVS is around a thousand dollars (no shit I'm not joking) and the side effects aren't worth it unless the acne is pretty bad.

Pirate - it works for both facial and body acne, works on teenagers and on old men like me.

Mudge - How did the joints feel after dropping down to 60mg ed?

Evil - there is a new gel that actually works (unlike all the other gels and creams) it's called Tazorac, a vit A derivitive and you shouldn't have a problem getting a Rx for it and very few sides, a far better solution if your acne is as mild as you described.

Hey Evil just try to wash and scrub it really good with a soap like Ivory. That shit tends to really dry me out. May be worth a try before turning to drugs to get rid of the acne. I've heard so many horror stories about accutane its probably not worth the risk unless you have very severe acne.

Thanks, guys.

I've always had pretty great skin (not to brag) and I never really got acne until this second cycle of mine. My acne fighting technique generally consists of tanning and using Dove Nutrium soap (it comes in a girly pink box) to dry out my skin. That's recently stopped working so I began trying other things, like using masks, astringents, you name it, I've tried it. Even used various bodywashes.

It helps being married because women know all about this stuff. My wife takes care of my chest every day for me. It's not really working because I'm still breaking out.

If Accutane has that many side effects and costs that much, then I'm all set with that. Oh well. I guess I'll just keep my shirt on while on this cycle.

Accutane sides depend on dose and person, I'd rather that than nasty acne scars over 50% of my body.

Evil Ant, I just prescription strengh "OXY" (different name, same compound) from the beginning and even though my face now has enough oil to fry an egg, I do not have pimples because this stuff controls the oil.

Accutane is serious stuff, IMHO I'd say use it as a last resort... try other options first.

I have been off my cycle for a month now and still am getting new breakouts. Is it going to be like this forever? I thought that once the test came back to normal, so would my skin. Is it changed now?

How long usually before test levels are back to normal? I don't mean when natural test levels are back, just when the half life of the test causes it to reach pre cycle levels.

Depends immensely on what you are shooting...

If you are shooting a cycle w/out test the levels will always be lower than normal.

If you are shooting test, depends on what ester you are shooting, and to some lesser degree the amount of gear you are using.

But if you are not using prop or suspension, I'd say about 2-3 weeks.

Damn Nolva is giving me more acne then I had on cycle (PS/PH). But, my skin was much more oily on cycle than it is now during pct. Strange.

For my cycle it was 500mg/week enan for 7 weeks and then 750/week for 5.5 more weeks. With dbol@25mg for the first 5 weeks.

If 2 to 3 weeks is how long it takes to return to somewhat normal levels, I would expect to have seen a decrease in acne by now.
