    question about diet

    hey guys and gals

Right now im consuming 3000+calories/day, and i need to up it more.
I have some weight gainer kicking around from when i was in h/s.

With 1 serving (154g) and 2 cups of milk:

    Calories 920
    Calories from fat 150
    Total Fat
    Sat Fat 11 g
    Cholesterol 75 mg
    Sodium 740 mg
    Potassium 1640 mg

plus a shit load of vitamins (a, c, d, e, b12, b6), thiamin, riboflovin, niacin, folate, biotin, pantothenic acid, calcium, iron, phosporous, iodine, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganeese, chromium

    and some amino acids
    leucine...3 213 mg
    isoleucine...1325 mg
    valine...1361 mg
    lysine...2457 mg
    methionine...567 mg
    phenylalanine..1024 mg
    threonine..1528 mg
    tryptophan...644 mg

My question is if these calories can be counted as a 'clean meal', or are they scrapped into the junkfood calories..if i take 2 servings per day thats 2000 calories...plus my current diet, a significant increase...

Im a single guy livin on my own for the most part, i have to save up for all of the expenses in life so naturally money is tight, anyone have any suggestions of clean calories/meals that are fairly easy to prepare and are relatively cheaper? Thanks for the input gang

Whole grains are dirt cheap cheap in bulk & great sources of glucose. Barley, Oats, Brown Rice, Whole-Wheat Flour, etc. Go to the Nutrition section of the forum, and you will get lots of solid advice: http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/diet-nutrition/
