My friend started his first cycle yesterday and I was there to make sure he done everything right. Well, as he went to pull the pin out of his ass he just passed out. So I picked him up from the floor and shook him til he clicked out of it. My question is has this ever happened to anyone or to anyone you know and if so do you know why?
My guess is that it was a purely psychological reaction. Perhaps he is a little afraid of needles...some people have strong phobias about needles. He also may have been nervous about starting a cycle for the first time, and simply fainted because of uncertainty about what he is doing. It is also possible he slightly touched on a nerve during injection, and fainted from the pain or "weirdness" of the feeling.

Was he breathing while he injected? I kid you not. Some people hold their breath, stop moving, heart rate slows, blood pressure drops, not enough oxygen gets to the brain, they pass out. Typical stress reaction.
