so im gonna need to go under the knife for a partial rotator cuff tear. Im wondering what everones opinion is. Should I continue to gear up and hit everything else but my shoulders ( and no benching) or should i just wait till its all over and fixed?

every upper body exercise involves the shoulders to some degree, so I see no point.
I would just take a break from training and gear. After your healed gradually get back into it.
