Wow, talk about odd.

I was doing a routine delt shot when I decided to shoot a centimeter down from where I normally do. I normally shoot in almost the exact same spot but I wanted to shake things up a bit.

Anyhow, I stuck the needle in and it was all fine and good until I aspirated. When I pulled back on the plunger, the weirdest damn thing happened. Instead of air or blood being drawn into the syringe, this thick, white fluid was drawn into it. I was like, "What the hell is this? Am I turning into The Fly?"

I withdrew the needle and found that the white pussy substance had leaked into the syringe a little. I didn't want to waste 250 mg's of otherwise pefect test, so I just got as much of the white stuff out of the syringe as I could (it appeared to be all gone), stuck on a new needle, and did a pec shot instead. That one went just fine.

So, what the hell happened? The white pussy stuff (gross, I know) looked like the crap that comes out of a pimple. Since I usually get acne on my shoulders, is it possible I simply injected through a pimple that hadn't risen to the surface of the skin yet? There were no visible signs of a pimple being in the spot where I did the shot. Normally when you start to get a pimple you are a little sore in that area before the pimple actually becomes visible. I was surprised when I aspirated and drew what appeared to be pimple juice.

Yum!

Anyway, should I be worried or has this ever happened to anyone else? My educated guess tells me that I just injected through a pimple that hadn't broken the skin yet. But, I could be wrong.

IMO it's not a pimple. If you are poking in your delts, you were probably using a 1 inch pin, meaning the pin went fairly deep under your skin. Now, i'm no expert, but it stands to reason that pimples don't start that deep in your body; they are right below the skin.

I'm curious as to what the vets have to say about this.

Not a vet, but there in no way it was a pimple. You could have some sort of infection from the previous shots in the area or an alien cocoon.

On the old anabolicfreakz board, someone else had that exact same thing. He even had photos and it was exactly as you described EA. He was thinking it was a pocket of fat, that was sucked into the syringe. Sort of lyposuction. If I remember correctly though, the conclusion was that it was puss caused by shooting in the same site too often.

Not sure about the white stuff, but you shoul def. be injecting in different spots every time.

You'll build up some serious scar tissue by injecting in the same spot over and over.

See, what's odd is that I hadn't shot in that delt for a week, so I can't imagine it was caused by me shooting into the same spot too often. Hell, it had been at least a week since I shot there. I had no shoulder soreness or anything so I doubt I had an infection in there that I didn't know about.

Even today, after shooting and drawing that weird fluid last night, my shoulder feels fine.

There's no way I could have passed through a pimple that was about to break the skin and that's how the puss entered the syringe? My mind is blown over what the hell it could have been. It looked exactly like the stuff that comes out when you pop a zit.

Man, that's kind of gross to talk about, huh?

The fluid wouldn't enter the syringe unless you were drawing the plunger back as the end of the needle passed through the zit. If there is no irritation, I'd just dismiss it as an anomaly and not shoot in that area for the rest of this cycle.

Thanks, guys. I was a bit freaked out and thought for sure I either had an abcess or would be getting one. I woke up today feeling fine. No shoulder pain at all.

Thankfully my cycle ends on Monday so I won't have to worry about this happening again for months.
