Hi. I am new to this board, but not new to badybuilding.

My question for you is...

Since you are involved with natural bodybuilding and should be familiar with the requirments, what are the different natural organizations, and requirments for being drug-free for each?

Also, is growth hormone included in the list of banned substances?

Is creatine considered natural, since it is naturally occuring but the form that is most commonly purchased is not naturally synthesized?

Sorry about all the questions, but I am coming from the NPC where there does not seem to be such a thing as "drug-free".

I am non competitive, but this is my understanding (may be incorrect, so please don't quote me and feel free to correct me)

Creatine is accepted as natural, HGH is not.
I think it boils down to OTC and script drugs, though I am unsure of the constraints on users who have a valid script.

So if I understand correctly,

insulin-dependent diabetics are considered natural, but if you are not diabetic and take insulin, then you are considered drug enhanced?

Also, the same goes for T3?

Every organization has their own list of banned substances. Most are very similar, although some will allow pro-hormones and some will not.

GH and T3 are banned, as are clenbuterol, GHB, all steroids and diuretics.

Creatine is not banned and not tested for in natural shows.

The best organizations to compete in are the INBF, ANBA, ANPPC, ANBC, NABF, and Musclemania. All of these organizations have websites with all the info you will need.

As for insulin...this is not tested for...but those who use it for bodybuilding purposes without also using GH and steroids is a moron.
