Personally, if you find yourself still making good progress, I would certainly wait. The better your base is to start with, the better your long-term results using roids imo. I would also consider waiting until you are a few years older.

What are you looking for out of the cycle?

Test only for 10-12 weeks at 500mg/week is a good first cycle.
Test + Dbol is also a good first cycle.

The above are most common and effective.

Get nolvadex to have on hand during the cycle and for PCT. Take some time to do some reading about how to run this stuff safely and effectively before you start up.

240lbs? Whats your bf%? Do your own research bro, you learn more that way rather than us just telling you what to take, how to take it, how long to take it etc. If your short on funds, anabolics probably aren't the answer. They may seem cheap at first, but when you finally get everything you need, including gear, PCT, food, needles etc, it will be a lot more than you expected.

I'm getting ready to do my first cycle of Test E. Just a little background. I have been working out hard for about the last two years so I think I'm ready for the next level if you will. However due to job(s) both mine and my wife and going back to school I will only have about three maybe four days a week to lift. My question is three to four lifting days enough.

I think you are worrying about the wrong thing! If you can manage 3 days/week, about an hour a session that is plenty of time to take advantage of a cycle. The extra rest can serve to keep you from overtraining as well.

Stick with whatever training program gives you good results off cycle. Let the steroids amplify the results. Simple and effective.

With regard to time constraints, you are far better off asking yourself if you have the time and dedication to consume sufficient calories and protein to get the most out of your cycle. You can easily blow a cycle by not eating enough. I have seen it happen too many times now.

And plan for it at a time when you can really have some fun with it. First cycle is almost always a blast and one hell of a learning experience.

Thanks for the advise. Now all I have to do is get my wife to do the injections. She worried she going to kill me. And I need to go to the grocery store.
