ive just finished my 1ad cycle, an di started pct yesterday, and i plan to run 2 more cycles in the near future. when i get older, more into my 20s id like to run a real gear cycle.. but i want to know everything about them first. ive read a lot of threads and posts here in the last year or so and ive learned a lot but most didnt stick with me so i feel i could learn more from a book. can anyone reccomend a good book that i can order online that will help me become educated in anabolic/androgenic steroids? i want to know everything i need to know about the history of steroids use, everything about every kind of steroids, and how to run a safe/effective cycle. thanks guys.

Black cover, Jeff Summers right? He wrote that because he claimed the author of the Anabolics 200x series lied to him about where his information came from (he was lifting it directly off websites).

Jeff is full of shit half the time and gives similar advice. I love books, I just got 2 in the mail today, but I dont buy steroid books. The good ones are over $300 and not easy reading.

I did buy WAR 96 like I said in my PM, when it first came out. Has errors, like many others do. All the info is free if you just look. If you are 16 years old or something like your SN might indicate, you have a very long time to read for free anyway.

No book on the market will give you all that, and opinions on cycling differ. Summer's listed cycles with tapering and horseshit theories behind them. I know because I was on his board before he "went legit."

Even if a book taught you everything from A to Z, you would likely only retain a small portion of it. It takes time to understand all the terminology and things, there is a learning curve. I dont think anyone with under a 140ish IQ will just sit and read everything and soak nearly all of it up and understand it without spending months or years going over it again and again. Little by little, there is always time.

I know just about what I need to know and little else. Go over to CEM and read some of Nandi's stuff if you want to see how confusing it can all become, and he is well over my age spending lots of dough on the "real books." If you want to really know all that stuff, it becomes your life, most people dont honestly want that especially when young. Or head over to Pubmed and Medline and start reading some research dissertations. Thats where the real information is, and a perfect example of this being way more than is going to be found in some 200 page book written by someone who says "I'm a Guru, buy my book."

I don't really think you will be satisfied with what you know after just reading a book. Too much of the info is useless and you'll never need it. I personally got a hell of a lot more off of reading message forums like this one.

IM is an excellent info source, but it is not a steroid board really. As Mudge mentioned, Nandi's board is a top quality board and one of the best on the internet hands down.

You'll get more practically useful information from boards where people have experimented with different compounds for years.

What I did was just start at the last page of each forum, and work backwards to the present reading any threads that I thought had value. I did this on about 10-15 steroid boards.

Alternatively you can run a search on a bunch of boards and look for the most commonly used compounds or just the ones you are interested in. For me it was basically...

1) Test Enanthate, Cypionate, Prop
2) Deca and Equipose
3) Trenbolone Acetate and Enanthate
4) Anadrol/Halo and the harsh shit
5) Dianabol
6) Masteron/Winny and that sort of thing

Plus maybe a few others that I forgot. I focused on the side effects and how to combat them so I didn't get more surprises than needed. Learned dosages and how long to run 'em etc.

I spent quite a bit of time learning the process of how the fuck to get it to my house without ending up in a cell block. That took me far longer than it should have but was worth it.

I waited until right before I started to learn how to pin, just bookmarked threads about it and read them when the time came. That is something that is really simple when you actually do it, but can seem like a nightmare to read about. And easy to forget.

There is a lot more to it, but that approach worked fairly well for me. I always keep in mind that I don't really know that much about a compound until it has entered my body and I have gone through the typical experiential education process that is so valuable.

I save things of interest in MHT (a compiled single file of that particular opened webpage in your browser), so I can go back to them later. The above sounds like a good idea. I love books, I just dont think anyone is writing one really worth buying at the $50 price point.

Legal Muscle would be a good one to have, and does cover some history. Other than that honestly, I mostly stick to the basics at this point. A little halo here or there might be of interest at some point.
