How many pricks?

I got the 50ml jug of test from Qv. Between me and my partner, that rubber stopper is going to be pricked over 20 X.
Is there a point where sterility may become an issue?
I was going to draw with 20ga pins, are they too big considering the number of hits?

If you are careful to swab the rubber stopper with a clean gauze and alcohol after each stab I don't think you'll have a problem. Issues occur whe people fail to keep the stopper clean and/or re-use needles.

I use a 22g pin on my jug and it's doing okay, just try to inject in different areas of the stopper. If you warm the oil there's no need for 20g a drawing pin.
