Best way to spread cycles over 12 months??
Scientific question for the experts:
What is the best way of spreading A FIXED AMOUNT of gear over a year? For example: 3-4 heavy cycles? 5-6 modest cycles? or a more even spread over the year - say 12 mini-cycles? I'm talking much lower doses than most of you guys, but the question stays the same. No posts about me being a big girlie, ok? This relates to my circumstances where I need to gain say a pound a month over twelve months, not gain more overall but by ballooning up and then losing half my gains every time. In theory (I guess) lower doses more often would not close down the body's own production as much as a few heavier cycle but no-one does this so there must be a reason why not. Here's an example (forget whether these are the best drugs or the right combo or ridiculously low doses for you lot): just say I set myself a limit of these in 12 months: 8-12 shots of sustanon 200 tabs anavar 200 tabs dbol nolva/other PCT as required I could do: 1) 3 cycles of 6-8 weeks 2) 8 cycles of six weeks - say one sustanon shot, tapered dbol and var tabs over 4 weeks, 2 weeks off/Nolva and start again 3) 12 mini-cycles - one sust shot, low dose tapered tabs, and nolva as necessary Over the year, would I gain the same lean mass on programme 1, 2 or 3? Or is there some reason why the 6-8 week cycles most Brits/Europeans go for (programme 1) would gain me more lean mass over the same period? If I doubled the total amount, would the answer be any different? Or quadrupled it? Once I have sorted out the best way of making steady gains over the year, I'll come back to you with other questions about the right gear (like Deca vs. test for example) and dosages. Thanks in advance, Flash |

Hi,
I am getting back into my training seriously now, in my mid-40s, having trained and competed in my 20s. I was never more than 75kg, cut all year round despite drinking four pints of milk a day, eating five meals, etc, etc. I am now around 12 stone (75kg) not as lean as I used to be but a good shape. If my wife found out I was juicing again I would be in deep sh1t so I need a schedule which will help me to make steady gains not big bursts. like I said before....get your balls back from her. ![]() |

No answers to the question then - I guess it really is stupid to ask "why 6-8 weeks cycles".
Gococks - the reason I said "lean mass" is because anyone can bulk up by a pound a month if they don't give a damn what the pound is. Let's say two pounds then - or three - whatever it takes to talk about cycles. Foremanrules - I'm not asking for fuc4ing marital advice I'm sure your marriage is fine and it works for you, and if ever I need counselling then I'll give you a call. Any comments on the cycles?I'm waiting.... Flash |

Ok: 6 week cycle 200mg test every 4 days...or 6 week test prop cycle 100mg EOD. run 10-20mg nolva during cycle to prevent water bloating..........you will have to figure out what to tell your wife when your sex drive goes up 200% during the cycle.

I did 2 cycles of 400mg test Cyp for 2 weeks only ( then took 8 weeks off and did it again) and it worked great for me....but I respond very quickly to short low doce cycles....most people do not. So I would recomend a 6 week cycle if you want less noticable gains.

Foremanrules: you're back on my christmas card list!
To check I understand your recommendations: over a year you would do 6 weeks on, 8 weeks off ... around 4 times. And you'd suggest I start off on straight test only - no tabs, and not Deca or similar instead. I thought the whole "anabolic" thing was precisely because they had managed to develop compounds which had the anabolic properties of test but with less androgenic properties. Most people on this "anabolic" forum do seem to prefer test (of one flavour or another) to true anabolics. I guess it's the aggression/energy it gives you for training, despite the sides. I didn't realise nolva kept the water down, that's a bonus. All the best |

Anavar is expensive and does nothing, dbol and Anadrol are dangerous IMO and will put size on really fast....not good if you are trying to be discreet..plus they bloat most people....Deca is good with test but it can give some people problems with erections and it also will add some water to you....Test is really all you need. I thought the whole "anabolic" thing was precisely because they had managed to develop compounds which had the anabolic properties of test but with less androgenic properties. Most people on this "anabolic" forum do seem to prefer test (of one flavour or another) to true anabolics. That is true but you are taking such a low dose it dosent matter, stacking differant drugs can be usefull but that is only on a higher leval or if you have a specific training goal...i.e. contest, power lifting contest, running the 100m fast ect.
